I bought two just over a year ago one will not charge anymore and let the smoke out the last time tried charging. Now I worry the second battery will do the same soon. I own all Dewalt tools and this is the first time I ran into this issue

I bought a Dewalt 21-1/2 brushless push mower and after less than 1 year of use both of my 10AH show 1 charge bar and are absolutely useless. It’s the same as all the other reviews on here.

Went to Home Depot and bought a DeWalt lawnmower that included 2 of the 10 Ah batteries in 2023. The first battery stopped working within 1-2 weeks. Home Depot was kind enough to replace it for me. Now, here I am nearing the end of my 2nd season of mowing with this lawnmower, and the 2nd battery has stopped working. Not reliable. Don't get it!

Is this MOWER “DEWALT QUALITY”?!
My wife and I were so excited about our Dewalt cordless electric lawnmower.
We TRUSTED the brand.
After about 2 years one battery started having glitches re charging and run time. Now both batteries have issues … We spent so much and now we have a “yellow brick” and long grass.
Need 2 new 20V 10.0 ah
Anyone have advice? Replacements? Aftermarket?

HORRIBLE product - Bought a lawnmower that included 2 of these and they BOTH stopped taking a charge after less than 10 mows.
Both were kept and charged inside when not in use.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Mower is great! Batteries suck.
I just purchased a mower (DCMWSP255U2) via Amazon. The DOM is 2/2022. Serial number: 1B10NK20615
After following the battery charging directions, I was excited to do my first mow in relative quiet. I got 30 minutes of runtime before it quit. I was using the RWD intermittently because my yard has a slope. I love the mower! Quiet, smooth, easy to use. The mower is excellent. I think your batteries stink. After reading the reviews on the 20V Max 10aH batteries, I found that they appear to be outright hazards in some instances! When the mower quit, I pulled the batteries and pressed the charge check button. Both showed three green bars. The red light started blinking on both when I put them in the chargers. The indicators tell me that my batteries will report a voltage charge level with the green bars, but the charger light and the mower quitting after 30 minutes tell me that there is no depth of charge or load capability, or at least not enough of one. For a mower that cost me $550, Dewalt should send me a pair of whatever the currently recommended batteries are for this mower for free. Only 30 minutes of runtime on a full charge on the first use feels unacceptable!

I purchased a dewalt electric lawnmower in January of 2023. One of the batteries has gone dead. Just like the multitude of reviews listed below. I contacted dewalt using the chat feature in hopes of resolving the issue. After all the pleasantries I was informed that my battery is out of warranty and require me to provide a receipt. Despite my best efforts to reiterate that I purchased the lawnmower in January of 2023, I was informed that the battery code places it out of warranty. I was told that Dewalt has no control on how long inventory is kept at Home Depot, and will need a receipt. Sadly I am heavily invested in Dewalt products and have never had an issue. This issue is making me reevaluate my opinion. To all you who are reading this review. Take time to preserve a copy of the receipt. Dewalt is unwilling to honor their warranty without one.
Lastly I requested to speak to a supervisor using the chat and was told one was not available and needed to call the provided phone number during regular business hours.
I guess agents do not have leadership support in the evenings.

I bought my DeWalt mower almost three years ago and one of the batteries will not charge past 2 bars and then the mower only lasts 5 minutes. I am very disappointed and looking to go back to a gas mower that can handle any yard.

I have purchased 2 dewalt mowers with 20V batteries. The first mower and batteries has worked great. The second one however I only been able to use a couple of times before one of the batteries stopped working. It shows a solid red on the charger but won't power the mower. It also won't power any of my other Dewalt 20v tools.

Two of these batteries came with an electric push mower that I bought 11 months ago. One of the batteries has already failed, i.e. it won't take a charge. Looking at other reviews that have been filed, it appears that the batteries are junk. And since the mower won't operate without these batteries, the mower is also junk. The battery is still under warranty, but it seems impossible to contact a real person to talk to at DeWalt.
