This is a well made tool
I have been using this style bender for 20 years or so. It is well made, and a solid value. The bender has a habit of pulling the tubing thru the fence and it will kink the tube on the arced track. This happens mostly at the 1/4" size. One must apply pressure on the left side of the fence and hold the tubing firmly so into doesnt get ahead of itself. Still, all things considered, it's a quality tool and a very good value. Practice on some scrap to learn how it runs.

Perfect for Plumbing
I have two of these benders, and one Yellow Jacket one. I use the Ridgid ones more frequently. Compact, easy to use, just does not do a return bend/loop like I would like it to (the Yellow Jacket one does that quite well, still that is not enough to keep the rating lower than five stars. Each of the benders I own (ones an extra) serve a purpose and I have no complaints at all (well except for that one previously mentioned).

Does what it's designed for
It works well bending soft copper as opposed to "mild steel tubing". Probably because it's designed to bend soft copper and not marketed for "mild steel tubing". They offer heavier duty benders for that application or you could just give it a 3 and not recommend it like some genius did.
