DeWalt DCBL722P1 20V Max XR Brushless Handheld Blower

I should have read reviews before buying. I have been pleased with the DeWalt tools I have purchased in the past but maybe should have gone a different direction on lawn and garden tools. I used it maybe 10 times over the year with no issue. I went to blow some snow and it started for about 10 seconds and then quit. I changed the battery twice and nothing. I would not recommend this product

I bought this March 2024. Wind velocity is good but the concentration tube keeps blowing off the blower unit. There is a latch that locks the tube to the blower and it is faulty. Getting in touch for a replacement has been somewhat challenging. We'll see how it goes in the end. My wife is frustrated that she goes to use it and the darn thing won't work.

My DCBL 720 20v brushless blower stopped working after about using it 6 times

Bought this around June to dry my car after washing it and now I use it whenever I can. Blowing leaves, drying the car, kicking up the fire. Literally whatever. Nice, light and it works for more than you would expect with a 5ah battery

Awesome Blower,, Great addition to my Dewalt collection.

Powerful, for only 15 minutes. I put aside my corded Toro Leaf Blower for this Dewalt Leaf Blower. I have several DeWalt drills and outdoor equipment tools and wanted to keep all in the family. Big mistake with the Leaf Blower. It is quite powerful, but for only a short time. To lengthen operating time you can reduce the power level, but that defeats the purpose of blowing a large yard of leaves. Work for 15 mins and then charge the battery for 1 hr. It would take me half a day to clean my yard. The battery life is abysmal. How do other makers of similar products offer battery life 3 to 5 times longer? With such a short battery life I could have saved my money and bought a leaf rake. It's going back where I bought it.

You know what’s great about DeWalt’s 20V leaf blower? I don’t have to mess with gas anymore. It’s light, it’s powerful, and it gets the job done without a lot of noise—literally. It moves leaves, dirt, and debris like nobody’s business, all without that smelly exhaust cloud hanging around. My old gas blower? It’s collecting dust in the shed because this DeWalt makes clearing a site quick and easy. No oil changes, no pull-starts, just grab and go.

I bought this blower 3 years ago, and while a bit under powered for my taste, it has served my half acre lot with (sidewalks/paved trails on 2 sides ) very well. It is light and simple to use. The trigger hold on the top is useful but tends to slip it into lower gear unless held down. I am currently upgrading to the 60v model for additional power.

While I like the lightweight and the overall operation, the run time is dismal. I used 2 fully charged batteries for a driveway and each battery lasted less than 10 minutes And I know the batteries I used are less than a year old. I've used DeWalt cordless drills for years and the batteries last "forever". I read reviews from a handful of sources but not every word that's out there, now I wish I had. I expected more.
