Bosch BAT414 12V Max Lithium-Ion 2.0Ah Clamshell High Capacity Battery

I love my Bosch 12v drill drivers but their batteries and chargers for this platform are the worst ever. Multiple batteries that won't charge. Not sure if it is the batteries or the chargers. Either way reliability is lacking. I will be switching to another brand in the near future.

This battery died after a few years of light usage. Simply won’t take a charge. Warrenty is only one year. Very disappointing.

We have two of these and after 26 months one of them still works. The other no longer charges and the warranty is only 24 months. I contacted support and they would not replace even though it was barely out of warranty and not used much. It's a bummer as the y are not cheap. The drill the battery came with is great though.

Amazing. I used the tool in 2011, then put it away charged. I didn’t need it until 2021, TEN YEARS later, and the tool worked right out of the box after being stored for ten years. It didn’t even need a charge. That is amazing and a big difference from my dewalt battery operated tools. I am buying more batteries before they get obsolete..

Battery is outlasting the drill. Bosch PS20-2A is getting old, what other products is this compatible with?

I've been using two of these batteries for a year and a half now and haven't had any issues with them. Hardly ever have to charge them, either.

Battery would not charge after about a year. Dissappoint. Good power drill but poor power source. Just outside warranty so having to buy a new battery. May just purchase a different brand of drill.

Everything is good except that one of 2 batteries shows 3 green bars and the white LED light comes on but the motor of the driver won't spin. It did about 2 or 3 times for about a minute then back to non-function mode. Somewhere I read that it could be a faulty thermistor. Is it possible to buy a replacement thermistor?

i bought the ps31 powertool that came with 2 batteries less than 6 months ago. INITIALLY i was very pleased with a typically very high quality. One of the batteries failed. i left it in the charger for a few weeks. the light indicated it was charged. It was dead. Removing it from the charger and trying to recharging but still dead. i think a replacement is in order. PS Reoving and inserting is more difficult than i expected.
