This Bosch 1/2 In. hammer drill delivers next-gen innovation with Brute Tough power for demanding materials and applications anywhere on a jobsite. This GSB18V-755CB25 Hammer Drill/Driver kit features a Brute Tough Hammer Drill and two CORE18V batteries, each with next-gen Li-ion 21700 cell technology. The drill is Connected-Ready, allowing it to connect to an optional Connectivity Tool Module, linking the tool to the free Bosch Toolbox app on a connected device for enhanced tool control and detailed feedback. It has a powerful EC Brushless motor, that provides efficient power for up to 755 In.-Lbs. of torque and 0-31,500 beats per minute (bpm). It weighs only 3.5 Lbs. (tool only, not including battery). It has variable speed settings: high speed (0-2,100 rpm) and high power (0-480 rpm). The CORE18V batteries have next-gen Li-ion 21700 cell technology for optimal performance in a lightweight, high-power battery. The drill has KickBack Control, which reduces the risk of injury from sudden rotational torque reaction in a bind-up scenario. The 25+1 precision clutch reduces fastener damage. It has an all-metal chuck that provides durability, and it has a longer belt clip for a more secure hold.

Junk! Kickback control makes it useless!
I own 3 Bosch 1/4" impacts and 3 Bosch drills. My latest purchase being this drill because I needed a drill with power and the others were weak. I was so committed to the Bosch name because of how many batteries and chargers I've accumulated that I sprung the extra money on the 755c thinking it would get me the power I needed for tougher jobs. Boy was I wrong. As soon as you try and bore through wood with a spade bit or hole saw this thing cuts out and stops. If you try and drill through a piece of steel it cuts out and stops. I hate this drill with a passion. I will soon be selling every Bosch I own and buy any other brand that does not put kick back control on their drills. I didn't even know this was a thing until I got mad and started looking into it. If you spend an extra 30 bucks on the programmable kick back you can make it worse but you can NOT disabled it. If you are an 85 pound female with weak wrist or 90 years old this feature might be for you. If you need to bore a 1" hole through a 2x4, look elsewhere. Their strongest impact they sell is super weak compared to others out there as well. I'll be putting every drill I own on market place super cheap and going a different direction.

Power and Precision
Bought this drill back in 2020, for the purpose of taptapconcon pre-drilling into typical strength concrete slabs, and have no regrets. The GSB18v-755 delivers in power, runtime and safety. Drills like butter into concrete, and lighter than most drills I've handled in it's class. The smaller 4.0 battery allowed me to create 30 plus holes 3/8", into concrete warehouse floor, without draining considerable amount of battery (>50 % remained. Considering the drills performance piercing through concrete the way it did, I don't believe it would be any different making holes in metal, wood etc. Overall, I recommend this power tool for medium/ heavy-duty construction drilling.
