Not bad but not for professional use
One of the laser lens covers had a flaw causing the light to scatter on one beam forcing me to use the beam solely. A bit frustrating. Still managed straight lines and for that I'm thankful

It's simple and very useful device for most DIY work at home. If you need more sophisticated device for any professional installation, you may need more expensive laser level, but for any home project you don't need to look elsewhere.

I bought this tool about 3 months ago. And has made work so much easier. Snapping grids on floors has never been easier or more exact

Framing and speed squares have there place... and so does laser! It is like having a 30-foot square in you pocket. I was easily able to check my wood fence gate build, despite having a slight bow in the edge that would have thrown off a normal square. Great for framing walls and laying tile. I don't recommend it for vertical use- there are no screw holes and the putty requires too much tinkering.

GTL2 Horizontal Lines / Position
When using the GTL2 for horizontal lines the unit is far from being accurate.

I have this and the GTL3. This one doesn't work as well as far as the line disappears when something is in the way (mortar. This tool works extremely well for layout though and at its cost is well worth the money. I actually use a combination of the two lasers while laying floor. Tip I use while laying tile is to set the tool on top of a loose tile instead of the floor and the line will then not disappear as much. Great for flooring and framing.
