dewalt weed eater and blower combo kit
love the weed eater and the blower. I've used gas weed eaters and was so tired of adjusting the carburetors all the time to get to run only to have a engine repair shop fix it every year. I would highly recommend these products.

Christmas present gone wrong
I received this as a Christmas present from my dad last year & was really looking forward to taming my yard with the trimmer. It worked great for about an hour. The bump feed wasn't working so for awhile I was manually pressing it & pulling some line out. Trying to re-string it seemed simple but now the line doesn't feed out at all. Bought a DeWalt replacement spool, but it doesn't fit this model somehow.
The blower works well though.

Best lawn bundle on the market
I bought this set to take care of my lawn after using many weed eaters and blowers that eventually burned up and gave out. This set is a great quality product that will absolutely last and the job always gets done! I love that it’s a 20v system and seems to be able to handle my large suburban lawn without losing any power really. Get this and you won’t regret it

Bought this combo set. Lucky it came with an extra battery. It takes more than 1 battery to clear my deck of less than 1" of new snow. Same for my sidewalk - it takes another battery for that. Hopefully the trimmer is easier on the battery because neither battery will last long enough to trim the yard. Buy lots of batteries if you have a large yard/house. Battery life is awful. If my deck and sidewalk were any larger I'd need 3 batterys.

I have had this product just over a year. I replaced the string on the trimmer and it still continues to break after about 30 sec of use. I am constantly re-stringing, too the point I don't even bother with the trimmer any more.

Needed to replace string and now won't advance
Bought this a little over a year ago and finally had to replace the string. Bought the DeWalt Trimmer Line, but it is difficult to replace and now won't advance the line. It breaks when I try to bump advance

Somewhat disappointed and frustrated
I was excited to get this last Spring (2021 but have had some issues: 1) The blower stopped working this Spring. No idea why so it is not a positive anymore (I had rather liked it). 2) The string line auto feed somewhat works but replacing the line is not the easiest. 3) The battery does not last as long as I expected. I have a large area but I expected to get more than halfway done. To make this work for me I will need to buy another battery.

Bought this to replace an older one I had and I am not disappointed. Gets the job done and battery life is not bad.

IT has only been a day but these work great. I was serious worried bout having enough power from a battery but the string trimmer did perform beyond what I expected. The blower not as impressive but still worked well, just needed to get close which was easy being battery operated.
