I made a new friend this morning... His name is Lickety Shhplit. I ran him on an 8ah battery for 3 maybe 4 hours than switched to a 5ah. When I started it was 3am and still dark so the LED light came in the clutch. But when the light came out the light was no longer needed yet still on... I can see a sensor for that coming in the near future... And the plastic blade change trigger seems odd, I wonder how long that things gonna last. Other than that ...I feel this is the nicest 20v DeWalt oscillating tool out.
Oh, I'm redoing caulking on tennis and basketball courts with this guy today

I hate how Dewalt put out a tool kit they throw in some stuff that you should always get but stop do like when this kit came out you got the cutting guide with it when you got the blades it come with a Dewalt blade box wit it with the bag and the sander attachment too for free but nope not no more we should’ve have to pay more for the cutting guide that should always come with tool I bet Milwaukee tool include it

I received this as a Christmas gift to replace an off-brand corded oscillating tool and I love it. The quick change blade is amazing. The old style hex key screw was a pain, but now changing blades take a few seconds. Operates very smoothly allowing greater control.

Was a huge fan of my fein oscillating tool but hated the cord that came with it. I’ve had this tool for a little over 2-years and it still works like the day I unboxed it. On average I use it for about 20-30 minutes a week. Just make sure when you buy blades they will fit it. Not all blades are truly universal.

I bought this tool last week and DO NOT regret it at all. I’ve been using it to cut dry wall and have even used it to cut through half inch blots

In 100 degree weather it doesn’t run more than 1 m
This unit has worked wonderfully until I tried using it in the direct sun at 100 degrees. Tool works less than a couple minutes before cutting off (the light would flash for a while after stopping.

The sander attachment is a must have. Trust me on this. It work great. I now have two of your multi tools. On is dedicated to intricate sanding and the other is for traditional multi tool cutting.

On my 3rd one, great tool, crappy cheap trigger.
I want to love this tool. It's handy, it's quick, it's powerful. The problem is the trigger, it's just cheap. I take good care of my tools, they make my living, but replacing one a year is getting REALLY spendy. I did try taking it to a DeWalt repair shop, but if they didn't sell it to you, they won't service it, and all other avenues are dead ends, so I'm done recommending them to new users.

Given 3 stars because the first tool failed. Light blinked and unit wouldn't accept a charge. Problem with buying a holiday kit is that the supply is limited. They didn't have another one where the first one was purchased. I had to drive 20+ miles to get another one. The 2nd one has performed well. I used the tool for grout removal, trimming ceramic tile, and cutting through cement board.

It needs a hex wrench and it says in the instructions that one is provided but mine did not. Customer service sent me a 2.5MM hex wrench which it way too small.
