Milwaukee 48-22-6100 Description

The Milwaukee® 9” High Leverage Lineman’s pliers features Iron Carbide Edge cutting edges for up to 2X More Cuts. The pliers’ head features integrated reaming ridges (patent pending) for removing burrs from the inside of smooth pipe. For added functionality, the Milwaukee® 9” High Leverage Lineman’s Pliers features an on-board crimper for insulated and non-insulated terminals as well as integrated fish tape puller. Milwaukee® pliers feature over-molded comfort grips, which will not peel under jobsite conditions. All Milwaukee® pliers are forged for strength and feature rust protection for long life.

Simply it is hard to cut through aluminum tie wire. Then you go to #2 solid copper and it is a struggle. Meanwhile a pair of klines cut through it a whole lot easier.

poor quality
I bought these because they were cheaper then the Klein lineman pliers, but the cutting edge went dull very fast and cutting 2/7 copper was a hard task, I love all my milaukee tools, but these just suck

Great idea bad craftsmanship
Just got the High leverage linesman pliers with the crimper and they look really good but the jaws aren't all the way closed when you squeeze hard. If you try and hold something really thin with the tip it won't grab at all, kinda frustrating since the very first thing I tried was to grab something that was thin. Only to look down and see the jaws are twisted or just ground wrong.. Wouldn't be so bad but I just paid over $30 thinking I was getting the upgraded ones

Best Electrical Hand Tools Ever
This is by far the best quality electrical tools Ive ever owned or used in my 23 years. My Milwaukee's have NEVER failed me. Finally a tool that can take my abuse and ask for more. Keep the products coming Milwaukee!!!!!
