Awesome little tool I didnt realize I needed.
I didn't know I needed this tool but it sure has come in handy. It was very handy at a few projects I was doing around the house. I repaired a washing machine and replacing a ceiling fan. It isn't feasble to drag an air hose into the house so using this one made the most sense. It has a built-in light, easily reversible, and has a trigger lock.

Great addition to the every day bag
This product works excellent. It provides plenty of power and torque. It is very handy in hard to reach spots. It is easy to handle and fits perfectly in my every day bag. It very conveniently works on the same battery platform as many other DeWalt tools.

This this is super handy. I’m a contractor and I still use the snot out of this thing. It fits in tight spaces where a crescent wrench would be used normally. It is not an especially powerful tool, but that’s not what it’s for. It replaces a ratchet or wrench. Nice job Dewalt.

When size matters as much as performance
When you need to get into hard to reach places to get off this pesky bolt but precision still matters when tightening one back in, this is the tools to grab.
Plenty of power to loosen stuck bolts without worrying about breaking them off due to the variable speed trigger, not as much power as it’s 20v cousin, but it makes up for that with the small footprint of this tool.
Have not yet had to use this tool on any heavy projects, but working on my truck this gets into those tight spots for the bolts and has made the jobs infinitely easier than using hand tools.
Given how it has performed on these tasks I will have no hesitation regardless the job.

My latest Dewalt tool is a 1/4” drive 12v ratchet, from dewalt’s Xtreme power tool line. No more noisy air compressors, and hoses to get in the way. The tool fits my hand nicely, not too big and bulky. It has plenty of torque, and can get into tight spaces. I like that it uses the 12v batteries over the 20v batteries, this keeps the size and weight down. As someone that has arthritis in his hands, a lite weight power tool is really nice. Only had it less than a month, but so far it’s my go too tool.
I’m in northern Illinois and it’s winter here now, when the Spring comes and all my lawn equipment comes back out, I can see this little ratchet getting a lot more use. Right now I would recommend this tool to anyone that has a need for a battery powered ratchet, that’s lite weight and easy to use. It’s well built and a good buy in my area stores.

Great build quality and built tough
I received my 1/4" ratchet and am very pleased with it. It is built DeWalt tough and looks and feels like it will last for my lifetime. This is just 1/4" so it is only meant for small jobs up to around 10mm, it has the torque to remove small fasteners in tight places making it handy where you cannot use an impact driver. It has an electronic clutch that seems to be perfect for this small application and it will prevent you from stripping out the screws that are in most plastic items and are so easily stripped with anything bigger than this. I have been waiting for DeWalt to build a battery powered ratchet and this small one fits my needs. Now I will purchase a 3/8" drive for my larger fasteners.

Perfect tool to repair my garage door in minutes!
Garage doors never need repairs when it is convenient. There is nothing as frustrating as trying to pull out of the driveway and you find that your garage door won't stay down. Having the DeWALT Brushless 1/4 inch Ratchet was perfect when I needed to adjust the brackets on my garage door so that I could leave for an appointment this week. I used the 12V Max Brushlesss Ratchet and a 7/16th inch DeWALT socket (a set I keep with the Ratchet so they are ready for quick use) and in just minutes I was able to fix the door. The brackets had loosened up and were causing the garage opener to bind. Without that adjustment I could not get the door to stay down. That's a problem when you have some place to be. I recommend a set of DeWALT sockets and extensions that you keep with the tool so that you don't have to spend hours or waste even minutes when you want that repair to be quick. I made my appointment on time and the garage door was back in operation. I love the fact that the DeWALT Brushless Ratchet takes a 12VLithium battery and have sufficient power so that I don't have to search for electric cords and outlets that are not being used. Anything to save time makes quick repairs without any effort. The variable speed allows you to use just the right torque without stripping the hardware. I like that DeWALT even designed this Ratchet with a light so that repairs can be made in those low light areas like my garage when the door is down. My next project will be using this ratchet to tighten all the other hardware that might have loosened up.

12 volt continues to impress me
This is a very handy ratchet. It’s very light weight, which I didn’t notice at first but after using it all day along side my 3/8” 20 volt I could definitely notice the difference when I grabbed it. At 40 ft-lbs of torque it is the perfect design for 1/4” sockets. If you do a lot of mechanical type work these new power ratchets are a no brained and they get into places an impact driver cannot. This was one of those tools you get and wonder why I didn’t buy one sooner. Very happy with it.

Well built and convenient.
This 1/4" 12v ratchet is pretty awesome once you know what it is intended for. This ratchet is rated for 40 lbs of torque. it's compact and convenient for tight places, but it is not a bolt breaker by any means . This is a really well-built tool and it does save you a lot of time when tearing apart motors when you are pulling bolts out in hard to reach places. Overall, im happy with it .
