DeWalt DCK227D2 Description

This DEWALT 20V MAX* brushless kit includes one 1/2 in. drill/driver, 1/4 in. impact driver, two 2.0 compact batteries, charger, and a contractor bag. The DCD777 1/2 in. drill driver is designed with a high-perofrmance motor that delivers 340 unit watts out. The DCF787 1/4 in. impact driver has a compact and lightweight design while providing 1,500 in-lbs. of torque.

Bought this kit in 2020 and bought some 5 amp batteries with it and everything still works OK, I had to get the anvil replaced on the impact driver, and the clutch replaced on the drill, both services were covered by warrantee. The 5 amp batteries last a long time with these tools. I used them to drill and screw through 24 gauge- 16 gauge steel, and even through heavy steel too, but that's where I noticed the impact drives the screws through the steel a little slower than the milwaukee drivers do. Also when drilling overhead into a spot where I can't put my weight into, I noticed the lesser torque in the dewalt drill makes it so the drill doesn't bite into steel as the red brand with less effort. They're still better than residential grade tools, and they didnt damage the 5 amp batteries too fast.

One of the best kits I’ve had. Battery last a decent amount of time, hundreds of charges.
