Survived the lake

I am in marine construction and have been using this impact for over a year doing so. My helper had accidently kicked it in the lake and it was under for over 45 minutes. While trying to retrieve it we kept hitting the trigger amd the impact was running under water for some of the time. So far its been 3 months and still going strong. Only issue was the battery indicator on the 5am/hr bat no longer works.

Awesome product

What a nice piece of equipment. I have sets in my shop and on my truck. Get used everyday and never once failed, even after being completely sumerged in a lake. Just opened it up, put a fan on it for a few days to dry complete, put it back together, snapped on a battery and back in business. If i could give 6 stars for durability, I would. great product.

Love my driver!

Have 12 guys in the field working every day we put all our tools thorough their paces! Dewalt are the best tools on the market in our opinion! From the amount of work we put them through on a daily basis to having been dropped from 12 foot ladders on to concrete and picking them up and going right back to work! They are great! Love them all!
