Flex volt battery 20v/ 60v
I used this battery for a home use and is should last longer than 5 years. I will never buy this battery again but will buy the cheaper batteries.

Worked great until it didn't
I was in the market to replace my 20 year old gas string trimmer that has gone through 2 carbs. I figured with the battery it'll be low maintenance and mess free. One year later and now I'm having to trim 950 linear feet with my old Craftsman. It's a good thing I didn't get rid of it. The 9AH battery worked great until it didn't. After a full charge it'll only last 15-20 minutes average, 25 minutes at best. Really good string trimmer that now I have to contemplate on whether to buy another battery or just buy another gas for cheaper.

I bought the 60v cordless weed eater thinking that I would get a lot of useful years out of it. Its only been 6 to 8 months since I bought it and the flexvolt battery that came with it won't even charge anymore. I spent over $400 getting the weed eater and I also have the pole saw attachment as well and all they are right now are paper weights because I can't use them. I've used DeWalt tools for many years and always loved them but after this, I'm thinking about switching to another brand.

I've used dewalt for years, and the cordless saws are great to have on any jobsite. This battery was great, as it lasted the day. Now will not take a charge, and is worthless to me. This is like the 3rd one that has failed me. I feel kind of committed at this point due to the money I have into the products. Found myself considering going red slowly. Called support a month ago, and was told a replacement would be delivered by 2wks. Still nothing, no email nothing! So I called and was given the excuse that they are out of stock, and my replacement is still on its way. 2more weeks. Unacceptable to me, as I count on my tools to make a living. Waiting 2 months for replacement is not acceptable. So my dilemma is do I buy more dewalt, or go with Milwaukee?

I love the 20/60 9amp hours flexvolt
I got this battery with the worm drive circular as a combo $459-$499 I forget. Regardless this battery cuts all 8-10 days on 2”x 10” sub decking pressure
treated lumber. You can feel the extra power. Safety first! Build America!
