Best tool to use on the job site. Very compact and easy to fit into small areas where space is needed.

JUNK, Failed Immediately, Dewalt will not replace!
Bought one of these less than 90 days ago. It failed with very little use. Contacted customer service, was given the run around by Olivia who said I needed to send in the tool because I did not have a service facility close to my location. I requested that she forward the email chain to a supervisor which apparantly neber happened. I am currently without the use of the tool I bought less than 90 days ago and was also told that I may be charged a fee to refurbish something that was defective as it was built. It literally did not even turn 50 fastners before it failed and is in like new condition externally even. I spent over $300 with Dewalt through Home Depot that day alone. Apparantly Dewalt will not stand behind the junk they are making nor will they honor their 90 day customer satisfaction promise.

Only had the drill for less than 6 months and it will only drive in reverse now. I have not put this tool through allot of abuse just some small project around the house

I bought this tool about two years ago and it has held up well. I use it for both commercial marine work and home DIY furniture and construction work. I used it to build some large dressers as well as remodel my kitchen. I have also used it driving machine screws in 3/8 aluminum boat hulls and large half inch lag bolts building docks. I like the 3 speed option as the power is there when I need it but can also be adjusted down for working with soft woods and fine cabinetry. Working on large commercial vessels and in docks there are a lot of cramped spaces I need to get into and the small size makes it easy when I have little clearence. It kept up with my larger mroe expensive milwaukee brushless driver reframing a commercial ferry dock and ended up being my go to tool during that project. The milwaukee actually burned out and this tool has outlived it. When building drawers and cabinets it is easy to work around tight spaces as well. Only reason for 4 stars is a glitch with the lights. The lights never turn off when the battery is in. It won't drain the battery over a day of work but I also can't leave the tool stored with the battery attached as it'll slowly drain the battery. It doesn't effect the usability much just more of an inconvenience.

Awsome compact to get in those hard to get places
This compact impact is pratical for decks an elctrical boxes fits in tight spots. The battery size gives it little more weight then desired. So if we are over head with it hand wrist get tired but in all id buy a second one. This out last the predecessor Milwaukee compact by far

Atomic 20v 1/4" impact packs a punch!
So I finally am replacing my old DeWalt 1/4 impact driver. This driver did not disappoint it's smaller lighter and came with a bigger battery! This atomic compact series packs a big punch I was hesitant to replace my old faithful impact but I am amazed with the quality DeWalt continues to produce in smaller package! Feels great in your hands and I liked that it came with the 5ah battery.

Impressive power in a compact design. Serious compact driver that has plenty of speed and power to handle simple driving of 1 1/4” screws to driving 4” lag screws. Compact design allows for easy maneuverability inside cabinets. Lightweight even with the 5.0 battery installed. The different speeds allow for multiple uses out of one driver. If you need heavy torque or want to finesse a screw without stripping or breaking the screw this driver has you covered with a simple push of a button. Well balanced, compact, powerful, different torque speeds, all combined make this an ideal driver to have in your toolbox

Perfect installation impact
This impact is excellent for cabinetry. It is small enough to fit inside all of the tight spaces and more than enough power to drive any screw I’ve used. The variable speed helps by allowing me to put on hardware with no fear of stripping the screws. It’s light weight, compact, and powerful. Everything I need in a cabinet installation tool box.

This tool changed my mind about the atomic line
Love this impact driver. I was skeptical about the atomic line of dewalt but this impact driver changed that. Has power that embarrasses my current dewalt impact driver. Lights are super bright. battery has power for days. Super light weight and compact
