DeWalt DCG418X1 60V 4.5"-6" Cordless Grinder Kit /w Kickback Brake and 9 Ah Battery

I've had mine for at least 6 months and I'm very pleased with it. Only problem I've had is the guard warped and I had to take it off. Not the end of the world. I use this every couple weeks give or take, for cutting metal, grout and grinding. It's heavy, but strong.

All around get grinder I've used this for multiple scenarios I've used this to sand concrete cut stone for 2 weeks straight for a fireplace job grinding metal nails wood you name it all around great tool he mesh filter screens are nice to blow air threw for dust and debris removal

Love the grinder it’s self it’s dewalts service I’m not very happy with. Long story short the grinder stopped working contacted dewalt, with no service center in my area I have to ship it to a center which will take who knows how long. I use a grinder almost daily so I will be forced to buy another grinder while I wait on mine to be serviced.

I purchased the kit with 2 Flex Volt batteries. Two batteries are a must because you'll need one ready to go when the one onboard runs out of juice... One of the batteries is working great, the other will no longer take a charge. It shows 1 bar (1 light) but when I put it on the charger the "pack charged" light comes on but the battery won't charge. Frustrating because now I just have the one battery meaning every 30 minutes I have to find another task to do while the battery recharges. Frustrating the spend this kind of money and have less than great performance after just a few months.

Very solid grinder with power to spare even with 6'' wheels. I highly reccomend the 3/9ah battery or bigger cause it is power hungry. The brake works great too. Even outperforms my flexvolt advantage grinder! Buy it now, thank Dewalt later.

I got this one after using its predecessor for a while. They are both powerful and I haven't had any issues cutting concrete, tile and even brick. The brake stops quickly and the control is good. I can change out blades without a tool and runtime is decent with a flexvolt battery. Absolutely a solid tool.

I used this on a welding job,works as good as cordless and long run time

This is a powerful tool that can attack pretty anything you throw at it. Having said that I wish it had a corded option for when need more time. The miter saw has this ability. For the price you pay it should have the same ability.

I wanted a cordless grinder with enough power for grinding off rusty heads, cutting rebar, sharpening mower blades and other cutting needs. This seems to fit the bill so far. Not sure that it spins the discs at 9000 rpm. Does not seem that fast with a fully charged 60V-6ah battery, but it is fast. Only surprise was that a 20V battery will not fit in the unit. I have several other flexvolt tools that accommodate 60V and 20V in a pinch. This unit is 60V only. Have not yet tried with 6 inch discs.
