DeWalt DWHT36925S 25FT DeWalt Tough Tape

I have been using this tape on any job that had metal studs. I will say having an attached magnet is a game changer and having measurements on both side made things much easier when in tight hard to read areas.

I feel like most tape measures that I’ve owned over the past 20 years fall short in terms of quality. This tape measure is a departure from that. The blade feels sturdy and there is plenty of reach! The removeable magnet is a nice touch and it’s incredibly strong for its size. The 100’ drop rating hasn’t been tested but it feels like it would survive. 9.5 out of 10. Great job Dewalt!

After receiving this item as part of a promo I threw it into one of my kits and have used it for a few weeks before writing this review. Overall dewalt and their designers earned a 5/5 on this but they still left a little on the table for improvement.

Overall the tape body isn't as bulky as other options in the 25' variant, rule has a wide blade for long standout and very easy to read markings.

One thing I've found that I enjoy and wish this tape had was a thumb cut out below the tape for easy "stop" without engaging the lock. I enjoy the long standout as I often work alone or measure jobsites alone, this feature earned the tape a spot in my estimation bag.

Well built tape measure. No problems with this tool. Worked well surveying signs in the air. Very ridgid and easy to extend and clip on parts. Also, used in shop for cutting parts to length for fabrication. The removable magnet is not a necessity but does come in hand when you don’t want to get stuck for in shop fab.

So I lost my tape measure and was very fortunate to find this one! I love the feel of it in my hand! I love being able to see my markings on both sides of the tape. The numbers and markings are very big font and very legible! It comes with a detachable magnet, so if you don’t want to use the magnet, easily pop it off. I really do love this tape measure, I’ve always used a certain brand that starts with S and ends in a y… I think I’ll start using dewalts from now on!

Dewalt Tough Series Tape Measure is the best out there. Its very easy to use. The layout marks are clear and accurate. Double sided making it a plus. Fits well in my hands and has a rugged feel to it. Heavy duty and has a sturdy hook. You cant go wrong with this and i highly recommend this product.

I used this 25' Tough Series tape measure for framing. It definitely lives up to the Tough name, no doubt! The spring is very strong and I like how I don't have to keep feeding the tape back into the tape measure, and it was consistently strong! It is very easy to read which is a big issue for me lately, too many brands are going to small font and it makes it hard to read in a fast pace environment! It is bigger than i like it to be for a 25ft tape measure, but overall, I am very pleased with it!

Tape feels good in hand, well designed. As an electrician the magnet is wonderful. Tape standout is on par with others but not notably ridged. Build looks like it could take a beating. Tape lock is well placed. Overall a quality product.

This tape measure is not only very well built but has some nice features to boot! it has a magnet that can be attached to the end of the tape with great holding power when measuring off of a metal object. The magnet can be stored in the tape measure when not needed. It also has the marking on it front face as well as its underside which is great! The tape is thick and wide enough to be able to support itself extened out as far as I treid...about 10 feet without folding over like most measuring tapes do. A great Tape measure!

I love how strong the magnet is and that you can take it off anytime I want. The lock works better than others as it is easier to lock/unlock. It is tough as advertised, I dropped it a couple of times from a garage so about 16 feet and it’s still working and going strong.
