This is the best job site saw I’ve ever owned. It has enough power to cut Through anything. Being able to fold and be compact as a plus.

Great Mobile Saw
I finally got the version 7491RS of this saw. I love the folding mobile table.
Pros: Blade alignment to miter slot; Miter angle to gauge; Bevel, all spot on out of the box. Rack and pinion fence superb; Stand is excellent, folds and opens and rolls well; very solid with a nice heft.
Cons: No soft start; Instruction sheet hard to correlate with the saw in places - especially for accessory on board storage; Miter gauge ok but I upgraded to a better one with a longer bar - not as poorly made as reviews have suggested

amazing!
Great saw!

Make sure to check calibration before operation to avoid kickback.
Riving knife handle is quite uncomfortable in operation, but still the ease of change is good.

Nice, clean cuts. Fits in the back seat of a sedan (not in it's box out of the store lol

lots of adjustments between the fence and bevel, but when you tune it in it works wonderfully.

Dewalt is the best!

Fantastic Portable Table Saw
I have a massive 220V table saw (that I've used for decades but found that in my new house, I had no way to utilize it so it was just a big piece of metal. But then I really needed a table saw. After some research, I found this at my local Home Depot and decided to spring for the $600 price tag. At first, I was a little unsure whether this was a good investment or not, since I didn't have a lot of major work planned in the future. Should I have just gotten a basic table saw and saved a couple hundred dollars? Well, I can tell you that I am thrilled with this table saw. I love how all the accessories can be mounted on board and it works so smoothly. Highly recommended.

Good quality and excellent mobility
After 40 years I needed to upgrade my table saw and because of my small shop a mobile saw was needed and high quality saw was desired. After product review research and comments from friends I chose the DeWalt 7491 and I'm glad I did. From blade alignment, ease of mobility, and the cam operated fence, the quality is excellent. The saw has good power and dust control as well as great safety features. I certainly recommend this saw for either work site or small shop use.

The best choice if shop space gets downsized.
I bought this saw when I moved to my retirement home in Florida. When going from a full house length basement workshop to shared space in a two car garage I had to choose carefully equipping my new woodworking shop. I did my homework carefully and examined a bunch of name brand jobsite table saws. The DE WALT was an easy choice primarily because of included features, quality and price. I was used to a full sized 10” table saw with a much bigger motor and of course had my concerns about bogging this machine down with the feed rates I was used to. Yes, I could not push quite as hard on this saw making cuts in 2” material but surprisingly for me, with a sharp blade ¾” red oak which I use often cuts burn free at a reasonably rapid rate. Cuts are accurate and stay that way through even a medium sized furniture project. Of course longer cuts in sheet goods are made with a track saw and not all the material goes through the table saw.

I really enjoy using this saw. The only alteration I did was to add an extended height baffle that attaches with magnets next to blade under the table. It helps capture a lot more of the dust. I pop it off when changing blades. If you are in the market for a compact table saw don’t hesitate to consider this one. It is really a sound investment.

Stable table
I bought this saw before Christmas 2019. Nothing but good things to say about it. It’s easy to use and very mobile. My old table saw, if I pushed a little hard, it would tip back. The legs on the Dewalt table saw keep it from doing that.
I have been slowly replacing all of my tools with DeWalt for a few years because they are quality. Also, most importantly to me, DeWalt is making an effort to move a majority of their production to America.

No Dado
I bought this for my home shop to do wood projects and have been happy until I found out that this saw does not accept a stacking dado blade (after I spent a $100 on the blade

Great little saw
I bought this saw as a beginning woodworker. It has performed very well, has plenty of power, and cleans up easily. My only problem is that the arbor nut keeps working loose. When that happens, the blade brake doesn't work, which is a concern. So far I haven't found any way to fix that or any way to contact anyone at DeWalt that can give advice on how to correct the problem.
