The TOOL CONNECT™ System is designed to seamlessly manage jobsite inventory to optimize productivity. The TOOL CONNECT™ Chip helps integrate non-Bluetooth enabled tools and storage into the TOOL CONNECT™ System. The Chip is a small, lightweight Bluetooth add-on that can be installed in the designated pocket of Chip-Ready products. Installing the Chip adds tracking capabilities that are compatible with TOOL CONNECT™ Site Manager, a software designed to add, manage, and track inventory for total jobsite visibility.

Garbage!!! App and support
The tool connect server has an error. Trying to set up an account and I get an error. Based on the reviews I read about tool connect I am not surprised. 😡😠🤬 garbage.I was emailing support last month and keep getting told that I would hear something back. Nothing has been done. That was after I kept getting told that my error was getting passed on to the appropriate support department. 2-3 months and no resolution!!! Is it time to just throw these chips in the trash?

Bad connectivity, worse apps
Terrible apps, site manager and tool connect won't work. Menus toggle on and off repeating. Bluetooth pairing is bad, and all of this with buggy apps that constantly crash my phone. Site manager app has a terrible UI if you can get through the bugs

Tool connect system
I have all 3 versions of the add on tool connect tags and I am very pleased with them. I have downloaded the site manager app and I can audit my tools whenever I feel the need. Or I can audit them based on the frequency, I decided when I sent the app up. The only issue that I have had is with the DCE040. When I audit my tools I have to get a battery and put it on the tools with the DCE040 so they have power to be recognized by the app. Love the system and the ability to identify any individual tool.
