Milwaukee 48-22-0416 16' Compact Wide Blade Tape Measure

After far less use than another brand. (Rhymes with Manley) This 35' Magnetic has broke right at 10" mark. unable to retract now and wont use due to the sharp cut. Cannot return to Home Depot and cannot find much info on website about warranty.

As what seem to have been written, I should have first read these reviews before realizing how much money I wasted on this 25ft. Magnetic tape measure. The strength is weak and not qualified from professional use as an electrician. Nearest repair shop is 3 hours away.

I switched from Dewalt to Milwaukee when my 18V stuff got old. That was the worst decision I ever made. They sell mediocre tools and have the WORST costumer service. If they actually stood behind their products that'd be bankrupt.

I've had this tape for less than 4 months. It no longer retracts fully. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty but the site doesn't give you any info on how to make a claim

Purchased about a yr ago and it broke in half but I use it hard and daily all day. I live by it and will head out and get another one and don’t blame the company one bit as it’s has worked flawlessly!

I can’t get the warranty on my measuring tape at Home Depot anymore. I use y'all's product all day on the field but can’t catch a break on a simple measuring tape. Do better Milwaukee.

I love Milwaukee in general owning many 18v and 12v power tools and lawn equipment (mower and edger are awesome) but this is the second tape that broke. Unless you live by a service center forget about the warranty. I would have to drive over 20 miles to utilize the "warranty" which is a waste of gas and time for a $23 tool. I have a Home Depot right up the street so I'll buy Husky (they have warranties) and just take it there for replacement if it breaks. Big disappointment for such a great brand.

My tape wont retract any longer. I loved it until it didnt love me anymore.

Cheaply made and won’t retract tape measure snapped after using for the first month or so.

Tape measure brakes rub the numbers off. Tape is thin and breaks easily. Mine broke at 3 ft.
