Fluke 9040 Phase Rotation Indicator

Fluker is well-know for outstanding products.
Solid when it comes to a accurate phase rotation indicator meter.
I own many fluke of all different kinds for apparatuses to do my job safely and professionally. No complaints of product but would have been nice to have a protective case with magnet lanyard with it. Like what comes standard with the Fluke 87-V Multimeter. At times you need one person to hold the unit and the other person is taking reading. For a simple job it takes two.

I would like to know if available inductive alligators for this model?

Got my 9040, out of the box so easy to use, very happy.

This tester does its job and does it well. No battery to worry about, two sets of probes and gives accurate readings. What more could you ask for? All my tester/meters are fluke.

This tester does exactly what it sets out to do. Tests phase rotation with minimum fuss. It comes with both probes and clips to allow testing on types of installations. The meter itself is solid as to be expected from Fluke and the display is clear and easy to read and gives an instant indication to the direction of rotation. It also tests up to 400hz making it ideal for aircraft power installations where correct phase rotation is paramount due to the sensitive electronics and high cost of aircraft electrical systems. If I were to be picky, the only thing I can fault with this meter is the lack of a backlit display but this isn't really much if an issue at all. I recommend this meter 100%.
