The GW 81298T, 3 piece locking Flex head ratchet set with comfort grip. I turn wrenches for a living and have used these everyday for the past 2+ weeks. My absolute favorite is the 1/4. These are my current go to daily. I’m still waiting for GW to disappoint me, I guess the never got the message............

Absolutely hands down the best ever! I've owned many different brands over the past 10 years but none hold us like these! I couldn't recommend these enough! Definitely a must have!! Everyone needs these added to their tool box! Gear wrench is the only brand i use! These help get to tight spaces without having to take extra parts off!

I really like this tool. They really help giving you more lead way to make sure the bolt and nuts. I used them at work. I work for state. I love when in a tight spot you can move the handle out to you so you can really make sure you don’t bust a Knuckle

Alright lets get down two it.! I’m going to be talking about the ¼ ratchets because it’s the one I used the most!! And to be honest I am completely impressed by it for one its size compared to the others ¼ ratches that I have its really slim and the length gives it that leverage being able to break free bolts with it is amazing some of my other ratchets I really to give it some “ummff” before I as able to break bolts free.!

Now for the locking flex part I believe the locking part of the ratchets is a major bonus that I didn’t realizes it had. some of my other ratches that I had it would lose its angle before I had to take it out and readjust with locking part it’s a no brainer! And when I didn’t want it to lock, I would just not lock it.!

The handle is surly another part of the ratches that is a bonus that I missed when I would use the ratchet in places that I cannot rely on the handle to make sure I still had hold of it in some cases if i was using another ratchet I lose touch of it and touch another part of the engine bay.

The 3/8 size Is my working horse for now from doing serpentine belts it has enough leverage to be able to pull the tensioner to get the belt and put back on!

Over all I’m satisfied with the ratches and cant go wrong with them !

Great set of ratchets. Like the fact you can lock and unlock the rotating head, as older ratchet I have from different brand doesn't lock in place. Smooth and fit hand very well. Would recommend!!!!!

A job where the locking angle flex head feature was crucial was removing an upstream oxygen sensor in a tight space between an exhaust manifold and firewall. I was able to use the 3/8" drive for this because of the long handle design. The locking flex head was able to support the weight of the heavy oxygen sensor socket where a regular flex head would flop around with the extra weight. The ratchet did not cut into my bare hand with the comfort style grip while putting on it all the force I had to break the rusty oxygen sensor free. The slight reduction in swing arc over Gearwrench's older style 84-tooth ratchets isn't as noticeable on standard length handle ratchets, but it is noticeable on long handle ratchets like these in a tight space such as between an engine and firewall. The head profile is slim and the grip is comfortable and well designed. These have served me well so far on a few different projects and they seem to be durable enough for years of service in my DIY garage.

Great ratchet set. Long length ratchet gives leverage that is needed, but not to long that they can't be used in multple applications. The 90 tooth head is solid. The locking mechanism is solid but doesn't lock at 90°. Overall solid product that becomes a daily used tool without breaking the bank.

Excellent quality, at a much better price than the truck. Have been using gearwrench products for years. Warranty process is a bit cumbersome, but they do stand behind the product. Like any tool if you're using them professionally, eventually they will wear out or break. The difference is made at how much use/abuse they will take before it happens, and how it is handled after it happens. I have Gearwrench ratchets have outlasted some of my tool truck stuff and when they have broken I've never been denied a claim.

Very comfortable and functional tools. The indexing notches allows the ratchets to be picked up without looking. These ratchets are quickly becoming my go to. I would recommend these tools to anyone.
