worked good until it didn't
worked good for a few years. we would send it into angle torque wrench repairs once a year for calibration. recently the digital screen froze on 130lbft and can not adjust. we sent it back into angle repairs for a repair and they said they could not fix it. This is the second electronic gearwrench torque wrench we have had that has in my opinion died an early death

Love this torque wrench! Have used it on multiple head gasket jobs! Works great, super easy to use and very accurate! Tested it against a know accurate torque wrench and it was right on! Digital screen is great and easily to read!

I’ve wanted this tool for so long. It’s the last bit I needed to build my engine for my street/race car. I chose this because I know how important correct torque is when it comes to assembling an engine. I nitpick and I trust a digital read out way more than my own eye on an analog torque wrench. I like that it feels sturdy and when torquing my camshafts everything seemed to go into spec. My only complaints are I wish I could turn the tone off for selecting the wrench. A minor inconvenience but bothers me a little. Lastly even though it never failed on me, the teeth did feel like they had an expiration date and made me a little hesitant. With that I still definitely recommend it and I’m happy with my choice

This is a good torque wrench for the money. The large lcd display is easy to see and read. The beep and vibration assure accuracy. The down falls I have found are 1)that it can be a bit confusing to set because it has different modes that I feel the insructions do not explain enough. 2) It only goes to 250 foot pounds. 3) It does not have angle torque
abilities. So many torque procedures have angle in them nowadays and this torque wrench can't live up to that.

Quality and Value Guaranteed
This 1/2” torque wrench worked very well. The setting are quite easy to setup. Press set, change your pounds or n/m and hit set again. That’s it. When the desired torque is reached a red light will show as a visual aid and also vibrates. You can also set a percentage to alert you when you are nearing the desired torque setting. The digital display will show the reached torque for a few seconds before changing back to the set torque. The case it comes with is very sturdy. The wrench itself is very stylish looking and very well built. The only downside I have is that when torquing something the display is usually not facing you. This is where you are depending on the beeps and vibration. If it was possible to have the display be able to turn that would definitely be an improvement. Overall the value and quality are spot on.

I use a Snap-On digital torque wrench at the shop and I've used click-type torque wrenches at home. Because I use a 1/2" torque wrench often, I decided I wanted to get a good digital torque wrench to use at home. I couldn't justify the $800 Snap-On, and it just so happened this digital Gearwrench was on sale when I was looking. Well, I'm quite pleased with it overall. It's easy to use and is as accurate as it claims to be from what I can tell. You can set and save the desired torque spec, so it won't move around on you, it tells you how tight you tightened it and you just turn it off to store it instead of having to set it to its lowest setting like with a click-type torque wrench. The length of it is great and it's easy to apply the right amount of torque. I have to play around with the % setting to get it to start beeping not too early and not too late. I would say the only thing I don't like about it are the 0.1 ft.lb. increments. I never use a "less than whole number setting" value on a 1/2" torque wrench. It's always a whole number, like 55, 80, 140, etc. But because you have to adjust it based on 0.1 ft.lb. increments, if it's on 139 ft.lb. and you need to set it to 140 ft.lb., you have to click "up" 10 times and listen to it beep for each click. It's inefficient and forces you to listen to the beeping. When you hold the button down, it will speed up but in almost unpredictable and exponential ways which, of course, causes you to go too far up or down and you end up clicking like 20 times more and listening to each beep. I cover the speaker while I set it because the excessive beeping is just overkill. It should move up and down using whole numbers, not 0.1 ft.lb. increments. I had to write a lot of words to explain the dislike above but that does not mean I do not like this product. I actually really like it, but if they could do something better (at least in my mind), it would be to change the increment setting or at least give us the option to change it. All in all, excellent product. I would recommend this to anyone who uses a 1/2" torque wrench regularly.

Very easy to use and is very accurate. Wish I had one of these 30 years ago. Feels like it will last a very long time. Any mechanic should be looking at this wonderful tool! Over the 40 years I have been a mechanic I have bever used a torque wrench like this unit.
Great tool!

I like the fact that it uses regular triple A batteries instead of some oddball special batteries like some other digital torque wrenches. The audible sound seems like it would be loud enough to hear ina loud shop environment and if it isn’t the vibration will definitely let you know when you’ve reached the preset torque setting. I would recommend this wrench but it might take some getting used to for me because I’m used to the click style.

The torque wrench I've always wanted!
I finally got the torque wrench I've always wanted. I've had click type torque wrenches for years but have always wanted a digital torque wrench. The wrench comes with a protective blow mold case which typically gets thrown in the trash but for a tool like this, with a screen and buttons I know I'll be keeping it protected in my tool box within this case. The wrench is easy to use out of the box, using 3 AAA batteries. The torque settings are easy to set and there are memory settings to keep your most used torque settings handy. For the price, the wrench is very well built and feels very robust and durable. I can't wait to use this wrench for some of my larger jobs with it's max torque of 250 ft. lbs. The torque settings are notified with a very audible beeping noise as well as a notification given on the screen of the torque which was reached. So far I love this wrench!!!

Awesome great torque wrench. The case is really good also. I used this wrench so far for suspension and wheels. The long leverage is great for higher torque applications. Makes it much easier. The buzzer is a great add on.
