The M12 FUEL SURGE™ ¼” Hex Hydraulic Driver is the industries first 12V Hydraulic Driver.With Milwaukee's FLUID-DRIVE™ Hydraulic Powertrain, users will experience up to 2X quieter operation, less vibration for smoother operation and faster driving speeds compared to standard impacts. The compact size of the tool and battery allow unmatched access in tight spaces and allows easy transport on a tool belt and fits easily in any jobsite tool bag. Performance is not sacrificed despite lower peak torque due to its Longer Sustained Torque that allows the tool to complete core users most common applications. The POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor delivers up to 0-3,000 RPM with constant power output to drive screws faster. REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. For use with REDLITHIUM™ Compact Batteries or Extended Capacity Batteries which deliver more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries on the market. The 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility. Self-Tapping Screw Mode is designed to reduce walking when starting self-tapping screws as well as reduce overdriving, breaking and stripping out screws.

Lighter and More Accessible

I recently downsized from the M18 platform, intending on decreasing weight and increasing accessibility. This driver does exactly that. It’s very light compared to the M18 version, and I couldn’t be happier with it! The Rover work light is great too! It’s nice to have a USB charging port for those emergency situations.

My New Favorite Too

It's super quiet and smooth, so it doesn't make a ton of noise when you're using it. Plus, it's small and light, which means you can easily carry it around. It even has a handy little light for those dark corners.

M12 FUEL SURGE

The M12 FUEL SURGE is a useful tool. It is useful for getting into tight places. It isn't over powering so I don't have to be concerned with breaking off fasteners but is more than strong enough to drive screws to mount panels.

Smooth steady power

I purchased as soon as the surge came out. Have used daily at work for several years, and if it ever breaks I will replace immediately. It runs smooth, quiet, and controllable. Working as an electrician I have used for everything from screwdriver bits to sockets to a 1 inch paddle bit, I have pushed it beyond its power and it still runs like new.

Try this tool first

I have used Ryobi, Ryoni HP and Portar Cable 18v drills, drivers, and impacts in the past. Im completely switching over to the Milwaukee M12 Fuel line. More Power, quieter, smallerform factor in every way imaginable. The wole package of the M12 Fuel Surge Impact with 2 batteries and charger with the case is lighter than the Ryobi HP and Battery I have. Dare I say even more capable. I could kick myself right in the butt for taking so long to make this purchase. I think the capabilities of this tool makes this the best first puchase in the tool line someone could make. Im already contemplating buying the M12 Fuel Hammer Drill. But, also debating whether I even need to because Milwaukee now offers Shockwave Impact rated drill bits.
