Our Compact Brushless Impact Driver is only 5.1 in. front to back, and features a high-performance brushless motor that delivers 1700 in-lbs of torque. Its 3 LEDs provide optimum illumination in dark spaces as you work. The handle is ergonomically designed for increased comfort, balance, and easier tool control. It also has a removable belt hook. It's backed by a 3-year, limited warranty so you can buy with confidence. Battery and charger sold separately.

Super smooth drive. No issues with lag screws!
This impact is amazing! Driving lag screws into treated lumber is not only easy but you can’t feel torque and feels smooth and easy. 3 1/2 inch screws into wood is super smooth. I would highly recommend Atomic over standard impact.

Great compact impact
This is the best compact impact drill I have owned. I am a plumber apprentice and I use it all the time to put straping up for pipe. It hasn't failed me even after a few drops from a ladder. I highly recommend plus the price is great.

DCF809 impact
I bought this Dewalt, DCF809 impact because my other one was way too heavy. I have used it heavily for over a week now and have had no problems with this impact that I have noticed other people having. The power of this impact is just fine for what I do I do carpentry the quietness of this impact is way better than the previous impact that I had from a different maker. If I have any problems, I will write another review on this impact. Thank you again Dewalt for supplying a wonderful tool line.

Great for new Apprentices
I bought this impact driver when I first started my apprenticeship a few years ago. The price is awesome for someone who is just starting out and needs a good reliable impact driver. As a plumber it was hard to stay away from Milwaukee but DeWalt’s reliable tools keep me coming back!

Great tool
This tool has been a big help on the job site this week installing cabinet in both a kitchen, and a bathroom vanity! The thought places make it a nice tool to use to screw the cabinets together! It is also nice to use to get screws between studs where I previously used a 90 degree drill!

LOTS OF POWER!
All the other reviews are true! This thing is powerful! Also interesting side note: the impact you would get in a drill/impact pairing has only 1 light but this thing has 3 BRIGHT LEDs...very handy with the sun going down quickly these days...spend the money, you will not be disappointed!

Great driving power!
I bought this impact driver about 3 months ago and used it to build my grandsons new Ninja fort. Worked great and I was able to drive way more deck screws on one battery than I would have believed.

Best impact on the market
This is the most powerful impact driver I've used. Paired with the XR batteries it gives great run time and excellent torque and driving capability

My go to Tool
This is mt favorite of the Dewalt tools I currently have! Use it for just about everything I used to use my cordless drills for (other than drilling holes of course :))

Good product
We have been using these impacts for about 5 years now and they are awesome,i work for a maintenance dept.and I use mine day in and day out with no problems I couldn’t do my job with out them thanks for making a good product

Great tool
When I bought the impact driver I had no idea how useful it would be. It has great power. I use it almost daily. I like it so much I bought one for my son and son in law. They both love it. If it ever wears out, I’ll be quick to buy a new one. Most of my tools are DeWalt.
