Milwaukee 48-22-8339 PACKOUT Shop Storage M18 Battery Rack

Milwaukee needs to make an adapter so that the battery rack will mount on top of the pack out boxes. The sole purpose of this purchase for me was so that the battery holders could sit on top with the batteries in them. They slide in but don't lock because they are not designed for this purpose. A simple adapter plate that functions like the bottom of the box to interlock to the top of the next box would solve this and make the boxes even more versatile. None of your engineers thought of this???

This should lock onto the lids, not just the wall.

Have had for one year, works great to store and find the batteries.
Now I need to buy another to store all my batteries.

I do like this product. It works well as intended and advertised BUT the big miss on Milwaukee's part is that when you take the battery holder off a wall mount it DOES NOT lock into the lids of the pack out boxes. For a system that boasts "MOST VERSATILE, DURABLE MODULAR STORAGE SYSTEM" I found this to be disappointing and a bit misleading as this is a big reason I bought this product. To have the ability to carry several batteries and KNOW they are securely attached to my storage cases.

I have two of these batteries packout and I will buy again as my collection of batteries and tools grows. I will recommend this product to everyone I talk with. Thank you Jeff

Works great. Helps me keep better track of all my batteries. Would give 5 stars if the price was lower. I believe price point is too high for what it is & what it’s made from. Still pleased with it’s overall function.

Love these for keeping my M18 packs tidy and easy to access. They’re sturdy and comfortably hold 4 12Ah batteries. Super easy to slide the batteries in and out, but secure enough they don’t accidentally slide out on their own.

It’s definitely convenient tray/rack, but it cannot be used independently without a packout tray or wall mount.

I mounted this on the screen the back door of my truck over the glass most convenient easy to see which battery I want. Also if arranged right you can store up to eight batteries in one rack.

This item is sturdy and the batteries store easy and click in for secure storage. It nice to be able to arrange your wall plates with the storage you need in the order or fashion you want it in. 5 star all the way
