Great Laser
I've had this laser for a few projects and its great my stabila broke down and I bought this dewalt one since I have dewalt works very well.

Dose not like weather
This is my 3rd replacement. This is a great laser until the weather cools down. Anything less than 55 degrees and it will shut down. Put it in front of the truck heater and it works again until it cools off again. If dewalt could deactivate temperature sensor I'm sure it would work fine

Inadequate user manual
This is one of MANY Dewalt products that my company has purchased.
I had to go through the Dewalt site to download a user manual and print it at home using MY PAPER AND INK!
Turns out it was a waste of time as the instructions are a joke!
The manual shows illustrations of the various components with number designations but there is no legend explaining what buttons are labeled what!
I had to read through the instructions to find designations.
But the instructions for the remote dont jive with the illustration so that's useless.
If you're going to overcharge an outrageous price for something the least you can do is provide adequate and CLEAR CUT INSTRUCTIONS!
Example: The remote illustration shows designations numbered one through seven yet the instruction refer to using buttons numbered 13 and 14 to remotely shut off the laser!
