Done buy until they make batteries replaceable.
Decent product, but range sucks. Finding anything with signal strength becomes impossible if there is a wall between you and the tracker.
The fact that these don't have replaceable batteries is insulting. I bought one of these to try out and I'll be returning it because I'm not buying $200 worth of trackers every "3 years". The One Key tools have battery slots on them. Shame on you.

Batteries don't last. Bought 20 of the trackers 5 months ago for our tool inventory and half of them already have dead or low batteries (supposed to have 3yr life). Batteries are not replaceable or serviceable and the tags are all epoxied onto tools which may prove difficult to replace them. Great concept but terrible execution Milwaukee.

I have one on my equip. Hasn't been on long but as I watch my history or randomly check for location it is very inaccurate as to where I actually am or was. I work at a job site for days and everyday it shows me at a whole different location from actual site I was. Right town I guess but not good enough to find my tools or smaller equip if were stolen. Also not a lot of people with the one key app so don't get alot of updates, would be better if worked along with other compatible companies as well like DeWalt or air tags even. But concept has me hoping for promising future ahead but these just aren't really worth having as is

Does its job, but could be improved.
Products works great as intended, but a few out of many of the 20+ trackers we have assigned to our tools and equipment seem to have broken. This is NOT the fault of Milwaukee, as the tags that are broken were attached to things like plate tamps/compactors, whatever you want to call it, and arent IK rated. Since i attached them with a security cable, i was hoping it being a little loose would negate some of the impact on the device by keeping it from being in contact, but it simply isnt impact resistant enough to withstand the vibrations of heavy equipment, or knocking into it repeatedly. In the future, we will be buying Milwaukee compactors with built in one-key to resolve this issue, because the system is so useful.

Had $3000 of tools taken, one had OneKey. Was able to give exact address to Sherrifs office and recovered all our tools

Great low cost method for tracking tool location
Great low cost method for tracking tool location. Tags are durable. Not a GPS tracker, but you get location information from the app. It uses the device's GPS to tag the QR scan. We are using it to track the location of assets.
