Milwaukee 0940-20 M18 FUEL Compact Vacuum

This past Christmas, my son got the M18 FUEL Compact Vacuum as a gift for my wife and I. He noticed how my wife was struggling to carry our regular cord vacuum up the stairs when cleaning the upstairs bedroom rugs. He figured a cordless would be great. Unfortunately, within two months of using the product the neck of the power floor tool snapped. It is made of plastic and not durable enough to handle the stresses placed upon it. From my research of reading many other reviews of this product, this is a known defect of the product, and obviously a very poor design. From what I determined, the cost of a replacement power floor tool is 3/4 of the original cost of the product. which is a waste of money, especially knowing it will only happen again. Without the power floor tool, using the product to vacuum floor rugs is a waste of time and effort. I am a retired civil engineer and the specific part, which breaks very easily, should have been made of metal. I am VERY disappointed by this significant flaw in the design of the product.

The plastic neck on the power floor cleaner broke during just the second use. It’s a shame Milwaukee put their name on the product. Very cheap feel for a $400 tool. Suction seems okay but it does clog on just carpet fibers.

I have had this tool not even a year and the power head has stopped working. I have looked all over the internet to find just that replacement piece with no luck. I hate to have to buy a whole unit just for the 1 part

Same problem as others, Used ONE SINGULAR TIME and the floor tool cracked at the neck like others. This is a horrible design and to top it off I've tried to call for some sort of warranty on this part, because it is now useless as a tool and wasn't cheap, and I've sat on hold with no one picking up.
This has been my first issue ever with a milwaukee product, disappointed.

First time out of the box and the power floor tool was snapped and broken. Poorly designed tool - I have thousands in Milwaukee tools and this is the first one I have been disappointed in.

Vacuum works great and I love all my Milwaukee tools but it's a shame the Power Floor attachment is poorly made and broke in less than a month of purchase

Third time i used the carpet attachment it snapped where the beater bar housing connects to the tube containing the hose....

I have had this vacuum for a little over a year, overall I like it. I did have an issue today, doing normal vacuuming and the power floor part broke. I have been looking for a replacement, but not finding on. It also seems like the filter gets clogged a lot, mostly with pet hair.

Bought late last summer, used on a couple of jobs. The wife loved it but now finding out that the filter clogs constantly, dog hair, debris and sawdust rarely make it to the canister (which falls off if you bump it) and instead plugs the cyclone. The floor attachment busted off and is hanging by the motor wires and suction tube now. Not sure how Milwaukee can call this a FUEL product much less a jobsite product with that kind of performance and build. Would not recommend at all!
