I would NOT but this product again.
not impressed. i should have done more research before my purchase, however i needed something right then. i though i would give it a try. it has all the functions i was looking for but after using the meter i have found accuracy is questionable when dealing with lower readings. i guess i don't understand you have this product listed twice with the only difference between the two models is one has a certification for its accuracy. i guess accuracy comes at a price, but my thoughts are if you produce a product it should be reliable and accurate. now that is out of the way the things i would work on at research and development. the meter needs to have better test leads that can be inserted into electrical plugs, but also have the ability to have alligator clamps screwed on to them they have such leads on the market now. having the ports on the bottom of the meter also makes it hard to use. when you lift the meter up i have found the the leads will get caught on something and pull out of the ports. this can be rectified by moving the ports to the face of the meter. it would be nice to have a temperature input that uses the K type connector, as these temp probes seem to be easier to find for replacement and other styles. i know they make adaptors but thats more to keep up with. speaking of keeping up with, how a about a bag to keep the stuff in. as i mentioned earlier with the leads pulling out of the ports, the meter either has to be clamped onto something or layed down on something. how about attaching some strong magnets to the back with a anti scuff pad on it to, this way you can stick the meter in front of you while you are taking a reading. if not it becomes a real pain in the neck trying to see the face of the meter. i know feedback isnt always pretty but hopefully having feedback with solutions is better. i hope these things can be addressed and a better product produced.

Dissatisfied
As an HVAC tech I was really excited about this purchase. It does everything you need it to. It just doesn't do it well. Temp probe is very inaccurate with no means of calibration, and the ohm range is only 6k. Really? I wish I had read more before purchasing this meter. Now I get to drop another 2-300 for the fluke I should have bought the first time around. Stick to the power tools Milwaukee. In that domain my loyalty remains intact.
