Will Not Stay On/Will Not Start
Puts the suck in vacuum, but not the way I expect. I paid $300 and expected this vacuum to last a long time. About 18 months doesn’t cut it. Now the thing either won’t start or won’t stay on. Considering the $$ I have invested in M18/M12, it is frustrating to have such a lemon.

I love milwaukee tools, and I bought this backpack vacum, and it's okay for vacuming à hard surface finished floor, but dont buy this thing expecting it to do what à plug in shop vac or rigid vac does on job sites. This is not a good vacum for cleaning up drywall dust or sawdust etc. I use it at home now for vacuming the hardwood floors. It works great for that and cob webs etc.

It's a great backpack vacuum. I wish it had a carpet head to it. The suction is good, and it is not bad in the weight. I love it, wish it was a little better not much though

Needs coupler added to end of wand. Great tool.
The wand needs the coupler added to it since the tools have the coupler groove.
Great machine as it is quiet and powerful. Bought two for work and I liked them so much I got one for home.

I dig it! But could use some touch ups
It’s quiet, it works super well on the properties I take care of, just missing a few small components, like better housing on the wand. And a battery life indicator

Fantastic backpack vacuum. We pair it with the M18 orbital sander and use it for drywall repairs in our hotel. This is helping to keep our work area clean and room downtime as minimal as possible. It has more than enough power and suction to handle not just the dywall dust, but to throw on the M12 powered carpet air tip and clean the floors on our way out. Thank you Milwaukee for not just making amazing and innovative tools to get a job done, but to remember that the job is not done until its clean.

This vacuum is awesome, I purchased 2 of them to assist in cleaning of a new addition to our auditorium, lots of stairs, The vacuum last long enough to vacuum half of the auditorium, reason for the second one, but it would be nice to have a better attachment for carpet and seats

Great vacuum, wish there more accessories for the head of the vacuum. Brushes, carpet or hardwood floor accessories would make this a great vacuum. Very quiet.

Nice product but needs a bigger battery
I was excited to receive the M18 FUEL 3-in-1 Backpack Vacuum, as it would make parts of my job easier - not being tethered to a power cord. I am 50/50 on the product - still happy I purchased it, but I think it needs a little work.
PROS:
+ It feels well-constructed, not "plasticky" like others' products.
+ It's very easy to empty the debris canister, just push two buttons, and you have the canister empty.
+ I love the telescoping extension wand. Simple to use, and a great design.
+ The "backpack" harness it really easy to adjust and is very comfortable.
+ It's not as loud as I thought it was going to be.
CONS:
- The battery that IS SOLD WITH IT is WOEFULLY underpowered. You might get 10-15 minutes of use with the 5.0Ah Battery that comes with it. If you need to use the vacuum regularly, break down and buy the Redlithium Forge HD 12.0 Ah Battery to use, instead. (An extra $250 out of your pocket.)
- Tool storage is awkward. To put the extension wand back into place on the vacuum while wearing it, you have to practically be a contortionist. Also, the elastic "hair-tie" material tool holders on the belt don't contain the tools when you kneel or crouch down.
