I used this once and the bladder valve switch stopped working. I tried to contact customer support about the warranty and got a generalized answer about parts not being available.

I purchased this unit about three years ago and have used it approximately twenty times, some at my home, my rentals and a few friends homes. I keep it in its original box and it has never failed me. The only thing I would have liked is the ability to have a cutting tool on the end to cut through tough grease clogs.

Had a clogged kitchen sink. rotary hand held drain cleaning had no effect. I run with this machine and the clog was cleared. Probably cost me as much as a having a plumber come. Now I'm read for the next clog.

Probably never have to call a plumber again
I get it, it's a pricey machine, but to be honest, it pays for itself. In my area, a call to a plumber ranges anywhere from $150 - $300 just to unclog.
Putting the machine together was really easy. Just wear gloves though, as the oil will get all over your hands. I watched a bunch of video's before operating it. And then I went for it. Took out the stopper and let the machine run. Really easy to use. Then after a few minutes, I saw a bubble and then a huge suction, and clog was gone! My only concern is when I took it out, the bulb got jammed onto a part, so that was a little scary for me as I had to continue to twist to get it out.
At the moment, the drain is still clear and I'm such a happy person!

Cheaper than a plumber's visit!
We live in a 5-story block & concrete condo building which has precast concrete floors. The dual kitchen sink is out on the floor, so its extended drain must run horizontally towards the outside wall before it goes down. When it got clogged a few months ago, a plumber charged $400 to clear it. He brought a motorized snake. Well, a few days ago, the drain clogged again! While at Home Depot, I noticed this $200 machine. Its cable reached 25ft and could unclog up to 2 in drains. . .I thought, "Hey, that's cheaper than a plumber!" So I bit and brought it home. (I'm a vet, so I also got a $20 discount!) I watched a couple YouTube videos, and fired the thing up, feeding pretty much all of the 25 ft of cable through the drain. It was easy to run with the foot switch, and to retract. When I hooked up the drain pipes and ran the faucet, the drain was clear! Now, if it happens again, I'll know just what to do. Perhaps a neighbor or two will "hire" me to do theirs!

My Ridgid Power Spin cracked so it would no longer feed and retract the cable, so I bought the PowerClear, and, as long as the feeder hose continues to work, this is a great drain cleaner. The feeder hose gets the cable directly into the drain so it cuts down on any mess or damage from the cable when it is retracted. The feeder hose works well and the clear container shows the cable, but markings would help to judge how much cable has been advanced. Best drain cleaner I’ve ever used.

PowerClear™ Drain Cleaning Machine —
Bought this about a month ago because my hand-crank snake got kinked up. The PowerClear works great. I like the handheld forward/reverse feature for the cable. Clears drains with no problem. Only wish it had a longer cable sometimes.
