This is a money making machine

I think the reason for all the negative reviews are that people aren’t using this machine for its intended purpose. Our company is based in NJ we bought this when it first came out and we use this and rely on it constantly for descaling sewer lines. We have only replaced the cable once and that was after we put the first one through hell and back.

I’ve had the k9-306 for about a year and a half and so far so good. This thing will chew up roots that my big 11/16” cable snake won’t touch. The machine is BIG, but it’s not super heavy. It’s incredible how quickly I’m in and out of job and I can see that I got the sewer 99.9% root free. I only do drain cleaning but this machine is definitely capable of descaling for lining. At first I truly didn’t like this machine because I thought the clutch was too sensitive but then I realized I had my chains set waaay too wide. Now that I measure the chains, the clutch only engages when it needs to. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone that does drain cleaning or lining

When it works this is a great machine. Problem is its all junk abs inside and its always breaking and destroying itself. Definately recommend a different brand. Ridgid knows the problem with these machines and avoids warranty.

I love my 306! Plenty of power to descale and clean roots. Wall to wall clean in 4-6" pipe. 125ft is nice to have for the needed jobs.

I have had this machine for a little over a year, this machine is pretty much hit or miss...it is great when u have a camera for roots and grease but blockages with wipes and Tamps , there is no way to penatrate it...perhaps a uni-bit type of head to drill thru blockage...with all of this being said, I am on my third cable the ends are welded by machine, and I've had both ends unfreeze and size inside sleeve...at 800 a pop for cable and machine with heads at a 6600 price tag, I wouldn't recommend

These machines are all the same, they are to clean pipes and remove soft clogs depending on the head you have on, if your trying to use it as a traditional cable machine it will break every time, after you learn how they work and get the feel of what your getting into they will be one of your best friends the only thing I wish is that rigid made it easier to get parts and just the cases.

The Ridgid FlexShaft K9 306 power has incredible power, which was consistent on every job i've carried out. Although it is big, it’s very easy to move around, and is well balanced which made it easy getting around obstacles in a typical garden. It easily removed scale and roots, and left all drains clean and free flowing. I also own the 102, and the 204, and whilst these are great bits of kit, they can never offer the same amount of power as the 306. The 306 has certainly reduced my time on site, which is why this was a great purchase for my Company.

i bought this 6 mths ago for some stack cleaning jobs in cast iron, its been a real trouper, a job no one else wanted, having the smaller flexshafts i thought i would give this a try, a lot more money, but its paid for itself 3 time over, well done team Ridgid, i waited a few months for my review but its tried and tested , we are all happy
