GearWrench 82306 27 Pc. Punch and Chisel Set

An excellent collection of high quality cold chisels and punches. They come in a nice roll that can be hung from the wall which is a thoughtful touch. However, the largest chisel fell through the plastic pocket and landed on my foot. I think the pouch could use an upgrade to a fabric pocket or something a little more durable. The tools are a good quality steel and definitely have a nice heft.

High quality set, it works great, punch sizes etched on the sides of the tools. I work in the agriculture industry so this set gets it's share of use. The handy pouch roll is a great idea keeps them from rolling around in my box.

Great assortment of tools to use. Recently had to change a rear hub bearing on a friends truck and the chisel and punches are in very handy. Had recently received them and they couldn’t have come T a better time. I had thrown some punches and a chisel together over the years, but these were all in one place with no back and forth to the tool box.

This punch and chisel set comes in a good heavy duty pouch that is very nicely labeled on the pouch and the punch and chisels.

As an automotive tech I tend to break the top off of the punches and dull the chisels. Requiring me to get a replacement or grind down to still be useable. This has not happened yet with this set. They are heavy and very durable through current use. I do expect to still have to sharpen the chisels as they take a lot of abuse. As of this writing they have performed flawlessly with no problems as of yet. For a larger set at an eighth the cost of major brands is a great value and quality to match.

The quality of the tools are great, I work on forklifts and use these a lot especially the punches and they have held up great with little to no mushrooming of the strike head or tips. The one and only downfall is that I wish they had longer lengths for harder to reach access areas.

Strong and useful set that in my hands get much use. They’ve been used in a variety of ways, and will for quite a while given that it’s a very strong and well made set. It’s carrier stow wrap is perfect to keep all of the set together when not in use. All and all I’m very happy with this punch and chisel set and will recommend it to anyone.

Great set of punches a chisels, it has every commonly used punch and chisel I need for automotive use with extras that I can see coming in good use for fabricating or tight spaces. So far I’ve used the chisel to snap away a half cut bolt, the punches to beat out crank seals, and lining up or knocking out bolts on control arms showing very little to no wear on the ends. As for the steel I haven’t had a single one rust from any moisture, it looks to be coated very well and all of them are well engraved with bold letters showing their size making it super simple to identify. The only downside In my opinion is the pouch, it looks good and keeps everything organized but in my case I took them out and placed them in trays for efficiency. Overall they are great if you are looking for a complete set that won’t leave you stranded and needing to purchase another punch or chisel.

This is the best set to buy. The tools within are durable and cover a wide variety for what you need. I couldn’t be anymore happier with them. The pouch that they come in makes them easy to transfer anywhere needed.

This 27pc. is a nice full set and nice case. They have all worked well a on all the jobs I used them on. Center punches worked well on punching centers in broken bolts to start drill bits and also use to put punch marks different metals to start drill bits. The pin punches worked well on removing retaining clips and removal of roll pins and stuck and broken cotter pins. The chisels worked well on rusted nuts and bolts to break them loose.

Great quality punch set. Has all the sizes and variations of punches you would need to get any job done. Every time I would use them I would the the precise and accurate to get what I needed to have done.
