Have had my pass through socket set for quite awhile. It has been a great addition to my other tools and is alway my go to set. Love my Gearwrench socket set.

Great socket set, all the essentials in a versatile configuration that looks highly durable. Perfect mix of sizes & typical high quality ratchets. The through bolt design is unique and I'm sure is going to be very useful.

Good for all ratcheting wrench applications
The 46 Pc. 1/4" & 3/8" Drive Pass-Thru™ 6 Point SAE/Metric Tool Set has done exactly as I needed. It performs as expected with being able to get where a normal ratcheting wrench cannot. I like that the set gives you a normal ratcheting wrench attachment so you are not reaching for other tools. The key system that this tool uses to hold in each attachment fits tightly and doesnt have much play for it to fall out on its own. The quality of the sockets are very good with very minimal tolerances to the real size of the bolts

Great addition to every toolbox and trunk!
My first impression of this pass-thru socket set is that it feels to be high quality. The ratchets feel sturdy and has only a 5° swing arc , which is super nice in tight areas. These sockets do not only work great on long studded nuts and threaded rod they are great for tight access areas,which was proven on my second time using them on an alternator replacement, cut labor time in less than half. Also with this set there is no longer a need for deep sockets which makes a great set to keep in the car. Definitely a great addition to the toolbox or car.

Never thought I would use these as much as I have. They're actually very useful around the house. Makes it much easier with some projects. I am a mechanic and have many tight spot in the factory I work in. These make it quicker to fix the machines.

Good quality and finish. Thin wall sockets to get in tighter clearance area. Very good for exhaust v-band clamps. Blow molded case for organization and storage. Would like to see a flex head style ratchet add to the set. Overall very good set to have on hand when needed

This Gear Ratchet Vortex Socket System 46 piece set was an amazing addition to my tools in my garage. They were able to get into places where regular ratchets couldn’t. Not to mention if you had a longer bolt that your deep socket could not handle this tool does it with ease. As far as getting old spark plugs out, due to the fact that it is open at both ends, you don’t have a chance at breaking the filament. I would recommend this ratchet set to any person who likes to build things themselves.

This is an excellent set, I was surprised how light weight the rachets and sockets are, yet still have a very solid and durable feel. I found this helps with hand fatigue, especially when working under a car or on your back. The switch to change direction is conveniently placed and has a solid click. I have actually been using this set in place of my normal sockets whether I need to passthrough or not. The handle has a good grip to it and I love that the extensions are passthrough as well. All the sockets are 6 point which is awesome especially since the wrenches have such a tight ratchet to them. Lastly and something that can be overlooked is that the socket sizes are very easy to see on the case and nicely etched on the sockets too.

Good portable pass thru socket set
The GearRatchet set is a good solution for those needing a pass thru socket set. Kit includes ratchets and sockets in both 1/4 and 3/8 drive as well as quick release adapters to use normal sockets. The socket to ratchet connection is secure but a little difficult to decouple. I think this may loosen up over time of use. The GearRatchet set will find its way into my road toolkit.
