I had a Milwaukee hammer drill and it quit halfway through the 1st hole in concrete block. I purchased the Bosch hammer drill and it went through the block like a hot knife through butter. I drilled 10 5/8 inch holes in no time. The only downside is you need SDS bits in this drill so the multitude of bits I have are not useable.

Bought this to drill holes in concrete and I've used it for that and chiseling and even moving a drain in a concrete floor! It's been great!

I needed to drill a couple of 3 1/2" holes through brick and this coupled with the 3 5/8" core bit from Bosch was the perfect duo. I loved the variable speed to soften the blow at the beginning and end to prevent cracks and blow out. I think the drill will be adequate for most every job I will do in the future. I can't wait to pound ground rods and see how it digs holes!

I've had this for about a year and used it extensively. I wish I bought it way earlier. I can't believe the punch this has with almost no recoil. I injured my hand and could barely lift anything up but I jackhammered with this thing for 2 hours the day after the sprain. It won't break into thick concrete so you have to work the edges. I sawcut through a 6" concrete wall and turned the whole slab into small chunks with this hammer. It gets pretty hot at times but it's never failed.

Bought this at the start of constructing our retirement home. Has exceeded all my expectations for a small hammer and drill. For doing Tapcon holes in cement nothing faster than this unit. A must have tool you won't regret the purchase.

I have had my sds hammer drill for over 7 years, using the sts precussion and core bits up to 1 1/2" dia. the drill has never let me down, only replacement part I have used is a new chuck, which is simple and quick to do. best drills on the market
