Bosch GCL 2-160 Description

The Bosch GCL 2-160 self-leveling cross-line laser with plumb points delivers all-in-one versatility, with highly visible lines and points that can be turned on independently or together for horizontal level, vertical level and plumb transfer applications. This laser has a visible range of 65 Ft. The receiver mode allows it to work with an optional Bosch line laser receiver (LR 6 or LR 7) for a working range of up to 165 Ft. It features VisiMax™ technology, which monitors power consumption to maximize line visibility and extend battery life. The smart pendulum system self-levels with an accuracy of up to ±4°, and it indicates out-of-level condition. The manual mode locks lines for use at any angle by just switching the tool on in locked mode. Robust over-molded construction – IP54 ensures splash water/dust protection for years of dependable operation. It comes with the RM 1 magnetic rotating mount that rotates 360° and includes a ceiling grid clip for use in ceiling-grid applications. The kit includes a hard carrying case for easy storage and transport.

All you need
Excellent product for a novice or pro. A rookie will advance their abilities quickly with a tool that won’t need to be replaced as their skill set improves. A pro already know what to do and this product is simple to use. Changing from self level to off is overly easy, as is changing the modes of function.
High recommend. I was gonna grab a lower grade model, but really couldn’t pass up on the functionality of this model or the price.

Ease of operation
Have used this laser level for a couple of years on commercial work and it does an excellent job- for plumb bob marks for hangers to horizontal lines for elevations and vertical lines for walls or piping runs - great tool

Innovative tool
Gone were the days of chalk line and unwanted marks in leveling. I use this tool a lot for laying out electrical outlets and overhead lighting.Makes life and the job easy,fast efficient and professional .

Best laser for this price point
Bought this a year ago, use it regularly in fairly harsh conditions. Still running perfectly. Battery life is superb.

Bosch is the Standard!
I bought the GCL2-160 about a month ago for a tile job. And boy did it save me big time. So easy, just set it down and you have both your plumb and level lines. Saved me so much time from picking up my levels again and again. I love Bosch, they are the standard in tools for me.

Useful for many projects
I recently renovated a home I just bought. I used this laser level for the main bathroom wall tile layout and for kitchen cabinet leveling. It was excellent. Extremely useful and was used every day for a few weeks. Highly recommended!
