20V MAX* XR® 10Ah Battery (2 PK)
I bought the Dewalt 20V Max 21" mower. Everything worked well for the first several months. However, the batteries now last at most about 15 minutes. I am often not able to finish even the front yard, and we have a SMALL lawn! I though Dewalt was known for quality, but this product has changed my perception. I am very disappointed.

3 batteries have died already
I bought a lawn mower from Home Depot one of the batteries died. A replacement battery was issued out in March of 2023 to replace the “defective” battery. I was super excited and it was working well for 4 months. I went to cut my grass again and both batteries for the lawn mower only lasted 20 minutes. These batteries are rated to last 60 minutes for the lawn mower use. I even attempted to use the edger tool and that lasted about 30 minutes. The new battery(replacement) 9ah 20Vdidn’t last a year and the battery battery that was bought with the lawn mower burnt out as well. I just don’t understand why these batteries keep burning out so quickly. All my products are dewalt so this is unsettling to say the least.

I bought the mower, the first 2 mows worked great, and I mean great! The batteries lasted for the front and backyard. 3rd mow I couldn’t even get a 1/4 of the front yard mowed and it has been that way since. I love the mower but am so disappointed in the batteries. What you are charging for them is ridiculous, especially for those of us on a VERY tight budget. The mower was an investment for me to begin with but I can’t be spending that kind of money replacing batteries like they’re paper towels. Very disappointing.

I have two of the batteries and they won't recharge. Frustrating because I have Dewalt everything else. The lawnmower was not worth the money. I'll have to buy a new lawnmower because it takes so long to cut my grass. If you get the lawnmower make sure you cut the grass ever other day and get lots of batteries.

Got a push lawn mower a couple weeks ago, said to have up to 1hr of runtime. First use the mower was working perfect, but batteries died after 25min. Took three charges and multiple days just to finish one cut of my lawn. Have many other dewalt tools, but this was a serious disappointment.

I bought the Dewalt self propellled mower last year. This year one of the batteries won’t charge . Paid $600 for the mower. I would think Dewalt is better than the other brands. Very disappointed in the battery performance. A replacement battery is 1/3 the cost of the mower!!!! I really like the mower but this is highway robbery

I love my lawnmower. Green and make strong, but it’s one second summer now and batteries are not lasting anymore. Cut more with the 5ah batteries than with the 10ah. Please help. I cost almost as much for batteries than a mew mower

I bought the DEWALT mower and really enjoyed how effective it was to cutting my lawn. Now I have to keep charging the batteries and this has turned into a 2 day process to cut front and back.

I purchased a Dewalt mower DCMWP233 last summer. It worked great, pulled the unit out this year and found the batteries wouldn't run the mower. Chared them again and and tried them in my chain saw. Found the batteries wouldn't hold a charge and are junk. The batteries were fully charged before I stored them in the house for the winter.
