DeWalt DCB210-2 20V MAX XR® 10.0Ah Lithium Ion Battery (2 pack)

I have these batteries with the self propelled lawn mower that I purchased from Home Depot. After about 10 uses the batteries would barely hold a charge for 20 minutes and one of the chargers would indicate that it was fully charged when it actually had no charge at all. I had to use one charger for two batteries that took several hours to charge for about 20 minutes of mowing. I had to split my lawn mowing up into three days due to the small amount of mowing time allowed. I really like the lawn mower, but the batteries are horrible. To replace them it is over $200 dollars and I am really concerned that the same thing will happen all over again, especially after looking at these other reviews. This issue has basically rendered my lawn mower useless and I have had to resort back to my gas lawn mower. The cost of these batteries are outlandish based on their performance. I really like Dewalt products, but this was a huge let down and cost me a ton of money for something that I can't really use. Super disappointing!

I purchasedthe lawn mower to replace a old gas one that I liked In order to save fuel cost and to save time from having to go get fuel.

Mower worked great even though I use it only a few times in the summer. I have maybe charged the mower 4 times a season. Could mow my entire lawn 2 times with them.

All of a sudden one of my batteries is now showing 0/3 bars and when placed on the charger is showing a "full charge."

Almost all of my tools are dewalt and battery operated. This is the second battery that has failed within 2years of ownership. My recommendation would to buy anything but dewalt. Quality has really gone down, my 9 year old 2 ah batteries are still working perfectly fine.

After spending upwards of 600 dollars for the mower/battery package, did not expect that in would be replacing batteries that are going to cost me as much if not more than what the package cost initially. Extremely disappointed in the product.

These battery batteries are as bad as all the reviews suggest. We also got two of these batteries with a Dewalt lawnmower. First season they were great. Second season, nothing but trouble. First one stopped working with the mower…and now the second battery no longer runs the mower. So seems the only options are 1. Buy multiple 5 amps, and cutting the lawn becomes a days long process or 2. Tossing out the mower and returning to gas. Don’t love either option.

Iv had 10ah for 4-5 months and it’s been an amazing battery. I guess i got lucky but i use it all the time, rarely have to charge it.

Wow, ive never seen so many bad reviews on the10ah battery, had i read these, perhaps i wouldn't have bought one. I bought one, at least a year and a half ago, maybe 2 years now. Got it at a fair price, use it every day at work. I use the 996 hammer drill to mix drywall mud, it has never died with a full days use. Charge it at night, ready to go in the morning. Hope it keeps going,

Bought 2 mowers with 4 batteries (2 10ah each). After 3 years 3 of the batteries will not fully charge. Can only mow for about 20 minutes. Love the mower, frustrated with the batteries. Lot of money to replace might a well by a different mower. NOT DEWALT.

I bought this last fall (2023) .Cut my all lawn,it lasted until done .cut my lawn.This spring it lasted 3/4 of the way .just now it lasted only halfway thru.(06/o6/2024

Like many other reviews here, approximately 3 years ago I bought the DeWalt lawnmower based on the quality DeWalt is known for however, recently one of the 2 batteries (20V XR 10AH) started to die shortly after I would start mowing the lawn, which is approximately 2000 sq. ft. As of last weekend, I now have 1 battery that won't charge at all. Now apparently my option is to buy a new pair of batteries and hope they don't die. Per Home Depot, the batteries aren't available separately (at least through them) although I'm finding some online options. My concern is that I'll buy 2 new expensive batteries and they'll fail within a couple of years. BTW, I only mow the lawn on average once a month so I would expect a much longer life, especially since I don't keep them plugged in on a charger 24/7, I only charge hours before use then again next time I need.

The 20V XR 10AH batteries in my DeWalt push mower last only a couple of years and now won't charge/run the mower. That's disappointing enough, but it's SHOCKING that the price of replacement batteries is $350 plus tax. I consider that extortion and would rather buy a different mower rather than know that I have this kind of cost to expect every 2 years. This is the first battery-powered DeWalt product I've purchased, and I won't make that mistake again.

Purchased the Dewalt battery powered mower from Home Depot in June of 2023 finished the mowing season and started using the mower a month ago and the batteries will not stay charged long enough to finish only part of the yard. The charger shows they are fully charged but the battery itself is only shows 1 bar.
I would not recommend purchasing.
