I've wanted one of these for a while now and finally picked one up. Bright awesome durable light. I love it and highly recommend it. My wife even told me to gab a couple more for the house in case the power goes out this storm season lol.

Regular battery dies very fast (5amp )2 hr max
Very anoing blinking , will be better for some cord connection

Poor service and lack if info
I got this light last year, only to find out I can’t mount a tripod to it as advertised. So disappointing, seeing it was advertised as tripod mountable. Horrible service, I have contacted Dewalt more than once now, and none of the sales people have been able to give me any answers. Very poorly trained. Is it tripod mountable or not ? Do I need to buy an attachment to make it tripod mountable ? There is no information about this on your website. Again extremely poor, and disappointing. Upon looking at the reviews a lot of people are really ticked off. Couldn’t you at least put enough information on your website so that people no what they are buying. I have been without a light now for months now.

I bought this light with the intention of mounting it on my Dewalt tripod. This light does not come with any mounting ability, as other reviews have stated.
The advertising has not been fixed several complaints and years later.
I am disappointed in this product and Dewalt.

No more tripod mounting options.
No more tripod mounting holes. Bought this based on the information provided and the store display all mentioning and having tripod mounting. Some reason it has been removed but no updates to information provided.

As others stated, the base no longer has threaded area to mount to tripod. Extremely disappointing and false description. I bought the light and separate tripod to light up work areas. Returning both and looking at Milwaukee options as they also have corded power option in addition to battery. I was already tempted to go with Milwaukee, but own so many Dewalt tools that it’s hard to justify cut over. Since they also have corded power built into their battery powered light, it will be easier to transition. I own 1 Milwaukee battery, but starting to look at more of their options and migrate over.
The light really sent me over the edge since EVERYWHERE it says it’s compatible with the tripod, but actually is not. Shame on Dewalt.

Doesnt mount to a tripod, bought the tripod
Nice light, it would nice if it did actually mount to the tripod that they sell for this purpose, it does not. Unfortunately I ordered both the light and the tripod.

I think this will be a great work light. I bought this because it had the tripod mounting feature and tool connect where as Milwaukee does not. I also have Makita and Milwaukee cordless platform and was looking forward to breaking into the dewalt cordless platform. But without the tripod mount I may return it as well as the dewalt tripod that I purchased for the light.

No Mounting Holes as Advertised
Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased two of these lights. Intended to mount them on tripods and like the others found out, there is not a 5/8 inch mounting hole to be found on either light base as advertised. That really sucks DeWalt! You let me down on these!
