Goodbye hose and compressor!
The DCN680B is an exceptional tool that exceeds expectations. Its precision and durability are unmatched, making it ideal for both professional and DIY projects. The brushless motor ensures efficient performance and longer runtime, while the tool-free depth adjustment provides ease of use. Lightweight and well-balanced, it offers great control and comfort. Truly a game-changer in the world of cordless nailers. Highly recommended for anyone seeking reliability and top-notch performance.

Continuous quality issues
I've only used the nailer a handful of times over the (3) months I've owned it b/c it's spending so much time getting repaired for the same grinding issue. I reduced my previous review from (3) stars to (1) star because it's continuously having the same issue, even after having already been returned by Dewalt's authorized service. Furthermore, I've noticed the depth adjustment is counterintuitive - the arrows point opposite of the direction you spin.
The weight is a big issue when nailing non-ergonomic angles - face it, we'll all do this at some point. The more I use the nailer, the more I'm finding myself continuously disappointed. It's a little better then running air lines - but it's so unbalanced, heavy, depth adjustment counterintuitive, and has significant quality problems.

Many thoughtful features but bad balance and grind
More convenient/portable than my air nailer, consistent nailing depth, thoughtful design for clearing jams and including extra tips. My kit came w/ bag, charger, and 2Ah battery (light).
I've wanted a cordless brad nailer for a long time, but was disappointed in the size and balance. I feel the weight would be bearable if it was better balanced.
Right out of the box it was making a noise - a bad internal grinding sound, intermittently. I opened it up and found wires rubbing against the motor, which I bent out of the way. When testing, I found the housing assembly had a lot of flex which allowed the wire to get pushed against the motor. Again, I feel because the balance of the tool puts the COG above the hand, that's contributing to the flex of the body. Overall the tool under delivers to expectations.

Very useful tool to have, especially when I’m on jobs that do not have power(electricity) up and running yet. Having used it on different types of job, from cabinetry builds to full home trim outs. Noticed it begins to get heavy. I like to use the 5ah battery so yes that’s to blame. But even after a while with the 2ah battery and installing crown molding and having to hold that tool horizontally get exhausting. PLEASE PLEASE make ATOMIC smaller version of this! I’ll be the first to buy one

Fixing up multiple 130+ year homes means there’s always something to do. And it always involves trim at some point or another. This nailer makes those tasks so much simpler since I don’t need to lug my compressor around. I haven’t experienced any jams, but it seems to have a simple and effective method for clearing. I’m actually looking forward to finishing trim now!

Great nailer, but they should have put a better no mar tip, it’s to easy to come off, and no retail sell these tips, you have to wait 1 to 2 weeks for Amazon to ship and the price is
just under 30.00 for 3 tips, it’s very expensive, my only 3 original I lost within 2 weeks.

I’ve been using this for a few months now and couldn’t be happier. I upgraded after using an air nailer for all my life. I will never go back to anything corded again. The adjustable settings on this drive a perfect nail every time. The only negatives I could see would be size and weight since it’s a little bigger than your average air nail gun size. If you’re on the fence… go buy one! It’s worth the money!

I've had rhis for about a year now and it's still kicking butt! So much easier than a compressor and pneumatic gun

This is my first use of a power nailer. Used it to re. attach hardwood moulding under a series of kitchen cabinets. The results came out better than the original installation. Flawless performance works with my existing 20V Dewalt batteries.

By far one of the best tools I have bought
I am remodeling my house didn’t want to run airlines through it so I bought this cordless 18 gauge Brad nailer. Love how easy it is to use and how you can set the nail depth and that you don’t have to use air. Highly recommend buying one if you’re gonna be doing trim or a lot of other projects around the house we’re gonna need a nailer
