DeWalt DNP618 Edge Guide For Fixed Base

This guide fence is fixed to the base using 2 small screws so its not as speedy as other brands,that's a bit of a negative for me,pkys the 2 screws holding it in place eventually wore away the aluminium thread it fixes too.
So have to upgrade the screws several times(using a Tap & Die set I've now got zero fixing for the guide..... not impressed.
This occurs through constantly taking the fence on and off daily for storage purposes etc.

This system needs a rethink pkease dewalt.
But the router ad a machine is great just the fence system is a let down.
