DeWalt DWHTGR50 Rapid Quick Heat Ceramic Glue Gun, Yellow

I’ve had my corded Dewalt Glue gun for 2 Christmas seasons already, no problems at all, including advancing glue sticks. Just use the proper size, and get 8 or 10 inch if you more glue per stick. Best glue gun I’ve ever owned.

I see lots of good reviews. I own an absurd amount of DeWalt tools so I expected good things... This glue gun is garbage.. it has never managed to melt one drop of glue or heat up at all. Best use for it at this point is to cut the cord off and use it to fix a better tool.
Can't return it it's too late. Do not buy

You have to use the gigantic glue sticks it comes with, only 4 then go buy. Cannot use the usual smaller glue sticks, won't push through. I can't use this.

Heats up fine-no glue when impress the trigger, almost like it’s clogged . Not too happy, especially since a lifetime guarantee

I wanted a quality glue gun as I am an avid crafter. I bought this thinking the DeWALT name was a reputable one in tools, and this should have been a great product. It was, until it wasn't. I had it plugged in while working on quite a big project, walked away for a few minutes, and came back to find it cooling off. I unplugged it, plugged it back in, and nothing. It would no longer heat up. I had a cheap glue gun from a big name box store that lasted longer than this.

Unlike crafts glue guns, this one heats up almost instantly. Starts melting glue within seconds. And it really melts the glue. Word of caution, it will melt everything it touches. If you touch it, it will burn! I accidentally touched it for a split second and had an instant blister.

I ran this side-by-side with my other glue gun (just your standard run of the mill hot glue gun to try and compare the two and it did not disappoint! The DeWalt glue gun was ready to use in 60 seconds after plugging it in compared to shortly over two minutes for the other gun! The weight of the DeWalt glue gun is really nice and it keeps it from getting knocked over while it’s hot. It was very comfortable to use and seems to be sized just right. No complaints here!

Very solid product. Heats up fast, haven’t had any issues whatsoever!

Have been using the ceramic heat gun for about 2 weeks now. It heats up to use within 15 seconds and the more impressive part is stays hot for about 5 minutes after unplugging. I was happy to find that although it sais to use 0.45" glue sticks I was able to use 0.5" with no issues.

I received the glue gun about a month ago and I absolutely love it, it heated up very quickly, I own a few other brands and honestly they are ok, but the Dewalt heats quicker and doesn't seem to gum up like the others, I believe it's the ceramic, my wife loves it also, u like the size and comfortable handle. I hight recommend. It and it's a great product for less than $25
