Overall, has nearly everything needed to keep in the RV & truck in a small form/weight factor. Can't beat the warranty. One of the things that I noticed in the review videos was that nice/functional plastic divider sheet that had the warranty info & phone number on it - disappointing that Dewalt has chosen to now use just cheap thin foam like everyone else which will rip and be useless in no-time.

I got this tool kit to work on automotive and for stuff around the house. I liked how the case had four latches to keep the tools secure. The indents that hold the tools do a good job, about one or two falls out during transport. Everything feels and looks like quality. I wish it had a way to connect a ratchet to the different bits (torque or screw). It has a lot to offer and I am still finding ways to use it. I am happy to have the product.

Excellent quality. Heavier ratchets which feel good in the hand, push button holds sockets, even when tossed down in frustration when rapping the knuckles. Perfect kit contents for working around the house on most projects. I wish it had a deep 9/16 in one of the drives. I routinely use deep sockets to give a little extra knuckle clearence but alas still an excellent all around socket and wrench selection. The case is a little large to easily store under the back seat for travel tool set

Perfect for a home mechanic!
Recently I received the DeWalt 168 pc Mechanics Tools Set and was impressed the second I opened it. This is a perfect toolset for any DIYer or home mechanic….especially if you are looking to get into small engine repair. First off, I was impressed with the packaging, it was protected and had no damage at all when it arrived. The hard case it comes with that protects the tools is quite nice and keeps all your tools in order, which you definitely want if you’re working outside. It comes with everything you need and will handle almost any job from putting together a swing set to rebuilding a riding lawn mower engine --- and everything in between. The 72 tooth ratchets are nice and the fact that it comes with 3 rachet drive sizes (1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2” is a great bonus. In addition, the full set of deep sockets and open end wrenches (standard and metric) rounds out this full-featured set. Overall, this kit is of high quality and I would definitely recommend it.

More pieces you need, less you don't
Love that this set includes both sockets and end wrenches. Too many times in the past I've worked with a different set that omitted any end wrenches or crescent. So every time I needed to hold something in place I had to go get more tools. This set has everything in one very nice hard case.
Includes 1/2" gear and all the adapters I need, rather than just extra bits I don't to make up the piece count.
A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

With my tool set I was able to take it anywhere.
I was able to take it to fix my wife's car when she broke down. To work on my motorcycle anywhere anytime. It is so organized and well built.

Have you ever bought something that says it has a bunch of pieces and are disappointed when you actually open it up? This tool set is not that way at all! I did not realize how many pieces this would really have. I really like that they are organized by the different sizes for easy access and location in the case. The engravings on the sockets are easy to read. The sockets themselves hold the nuts really well. I’ve not experienced any slipping while tightening things up. I really felt like I was getting a bonus with the screwdriver head set in its own case. Really impressed with the amount you get in this set!

this is a good all around tool set for mast all repair projects on your cars or all around repairs on your house projects good for the garage or as a tool box setit meets a lot of needs a great set for anyone please buy you wont be soory

I got this item a couple weeks ago and have already used it a few times. It is a great complete set to have in the truck or on the road when you need it, helped me multiple times being able to have shutting organized in one spot. Pretty good quality too!
