Milwaukee 2269-20NST 30:1 Infrared/Contact Temp Gun 9-Volt NIST Certified

This is the best most accurate temperature gun I have used in the past 30 years. I'm A commercial Industrial HVAC/R technician and use this tool multiple times daily. This gun is 30:1 and that makes reading temperatures from A distance much more accurate. It always gives me consistent, accurate temperature readings, has the largest, easy to view screen I have seen, it's built robustly, and A great feature that comes in handy for me is the ability to connect A thermistor type temperature sensor(included). I have owned many of these infrared temperature guns over the years and this Milwaukee one is the most I have spent on one, You get what you pay for. It has all the normal options: hold, average, high & low temperature alarms, and emissivity adjustment plus memory which any do not have. There are 2 issues that I wish or should have been included and with both of these this infrared temperature gun would be top of the list. 1- This doesn't make any sense to me and makes you wonder how the engineer's think when designing this?? This expensive, quality, Milwaukee temp gun doesn't include A case or even offer one at an extra cost, this is A electronic instrument that measures critical temperatures and without protection bouncing around in my Milwaukee tool bag the screen will get scratched, the calibration could get messed up A case to protect A instrument of this kind is A No-Brainer! All other brands even ones costing A 1/10th of this one include A case. I can't subtract any stars for this because I purchased it knowing no case was included. However I didn't realize it would be so difficult to find A universal multimeter case to purchase to store my temp gun in. All are either just A little to small or way to big and there just isn't enough room in my Milwaukee tool bag. 2- My previous infrared temperature gun an IR-10 had dual lasers to give you A much more accurate area of where you are measuring temperature from A distance, I really miss this feature, I still choose using this Milwaukee one due to more accurate readings and because I have been using this type of tool for many years I know where I am aiming or just move closer If possible. With the addition of these 2 things this would become A top infrared temperature gun.
