A brand new battery that will not charge. Yes, it is a year old and never used. I tried the 9v trick but that did not work either. The battery is seated properly.

Very disappointing product. Bought the drill/battery in 2019 and only used it occasionally over the next 3-4yrs (<50 cycles). It stopped holding any charge in 2022/2023. Milwaukee offered to refurbish it for $84 when you can get a brand new one for $99, lol. First and last Milwaukee tool I’ll buy.

Genuine Parts at a great price
The batteries I ordered came in on time and were a great price. Since they are genuine Milwaukee, I feel good knowing they are compatible with my tools. There are so many counterfeit batteries and tools today. This is why I went direct with RedTool

It was nice working battery but it died fast.
It stops taking charge after one year of use. But it was a good battery while it was working.

Milwaukee batting a thousand but not this time
Out of the box failure on one 2.0 battery of a pair that came in a set. Flashing red. On a Milwaukee rapid charger (that came with a different set) it looked like it was charging for a while then started flashing red/green. I have 8xM18 batteries and 6 tools and this is the first failure. Even my ancient M12 tools still work! So let's see if they can make this right. I can't return to Home Depot without returning the entire set, 2 tools, 2 batteries and a charger. That seems silly when it's just one battery failure!

I will buy Milwaukee products anytime
I have a older 2.0 battery that is 6 years old for my M18 1/4 driver, I use it all the time, charge it through my vans inverter, after this amount of time it still works great. I recently purchased for my self a 1/4 driver under the special buy I like how much smaller the driver is and my expectations are the 2.0 will do as well as my 6 year old work battery. It might be a bad batch of manufacturing and I’m sure Milwaukee will look into it do right by its loyal and new customers

i have a drill/driver and impact driver, both brushless, and each came with this battery. i enjoy using these tools for projects in my shop and around the home. i find these batteries to be adequate but i don't spend all day with only one tool in my hand.

I just purchased the M18 3601-21P kit and I'm happy with the performance of the drill, charger & contractor bag, but quite disappointed in the capacity of the Milwaukee M18 Red Lithium CP 2.0 battery. It runs out of power very quickly. I have 27-year-old cordless drill with a worn-out 6-year-old NIMH battery that significantly outlasts this Milwaukee battery. I'm currently using the drill with a wire wheel to polish rusty hand tools and I have to stop to recharge after just a few minutes of work. Now I have to spend another $200+ to get a higher capacity battery. The entire kit only cost me $99 - I thought I was getting a great value. I should have done more research. I just assumed it was going to run at least a long as my old drill - I'm sadly mistaken. I'm going to have to buy a corded drill also.
