RIDGID 31275 14-1/2" Straight Hex Wrench - Model 17

Oh man I can’t describe how many times this tool made my job easy. My coworker had this tool in his bag and I used it one time and I fell in love. I had to go buy one myself. It’s helpful every way possible.

I love using this on gastite fittings, unions, and things like that.

Actually tough as, I brought 2 sizes but surprised I broke the jaw of the 18” one. So how do I get a replacement jaw

Considering its small size, this is by far the best wrench for any home plumbing work. This wrench has an amazing capacity and leaves no marks on the chrome-plated surface as it has polished inner surface lips. A must-have tool for any hobbyist or professional.

I use this wrench all the time for unions, valves, and backing up male/female adapters. Great purchase.

Had one of these for around 15 years now & its one of the best & useful tools in my inventory. Rock solid performance for years & durable enough to put a 1m cheater pipe on the end of it (Not that I advocate the use of such things) ;-)

Had the small wrench for few years. Great for larger TX valves and refrig fittings. I keep another for gas pipe / water pipe valves, unions etc. Recently purchased the large 25" one for a large water pipe project and worked amazing on 1.5 & 2 inch copper and brass valves and fittings. Have also used on large steam repipe job and once again, proved invaluable. However, this wrench serves a certain purpose and only works on hexagonal fittings. Unless you are a professional pipe fitter or commercial HVAC mechanic, it would be hard to justify the cost. If you can, it's well worth it. I've already ordered another large one.
