Compact and Reliable – Ideal for Tight Spaces
The micro CA-350 inspection camera is an excellent tool we use with one of our smaller reels. It’s perfect for jobs where you need to bring the camera up on the roof but don’t want to lug a large monitor with you. The image quality during inspections is clear, and its compact design makes it a breeze to handle. You can securely strap it right to the reel, so you’re not juggling multiple items while climbing a ladder. It works great and is a game-changer for tight or elevated spaces. Highly recommend!

The reviews here are 90% user error
It has audio recording you just have to turn on. You’re able to turn the screen through settings 90° at a time. You have to use an as card capable of recording video. Some as cards have slow bit rates because they are for pictures not videos and they’re slow and cheap. Use from a 32GB up to a 256GB SD card with an upload speed of over 100mbps and you’ll be just fine. Don’t forget to format the SD card in the settings to erase the other data on the card and formatting in the card and it’s ready to go. I got mine for my Rigid Seesnake Reel Camera with a L100C cable. The CA-300 doesn’t have as good of battery life spend the extra money to get the CA-350! Cheers!

Observations that may be of help
Bore-scopes need to have better resolution. They also need to be adjustable at the tip for difficult access areas so you can move the lens 45 to 90 degrees for example inside a cylinder i need to be able to focus and adjust the angle of the camera.

I recently returned a faulty unit for repair and was told it had a fault on the main PCB. The Ridgid warranty does not cover Electrics/Electronics on products over 1 year old so I am stuck with a repair bill of £287 plus delivery. Love to now what is covered. Its a pure sales gimmick.

Camera would not record audio
I purchased this camera to offer inspections of drain lines for my home inspection business, I used the camera at my own home to test it out and noted the audio would play back very strangely and there was background noise, making the video um-presentable for clients. I could not return it since i had used it once to test it and it is considered a biological hazard so it has to be repaired by ridgid. I am happy with the way i can drop off the unit for repair under warranty, but there is a 8-10 week lead time for repair. I cant fathom how someone can be without their camera for that long. So essentially be aware of very long repair times, and know that if this is your bread and butter you will need two cameras in order to service clients due to the repair times. The push rod seams sturdy and i am sure it will last, not so sure about the camera it attaches too.... for the money I would think they would send you a model to borrow while yours is in for repair. I am fairly certain my situation is not typical, but test the sound etc. before putting it down the drain.
